“I used to go there a lot with my father many years ago when they had different ownership. At that time it was great for finding things you would normally find in a health food store. I loved the place! Now it's not the same, I can't find things I know I'd find in a health food store, hands down. The produce is very good, but health food store items are limited. It's not the same experience I had years ago under the old ownership.”

“I usually stay quiet, but after seeing unfair comments about Fresh Meadows Halal Meat & Grocery, I feel the need to speak up. I have been shopping at Fresh Meadows Halal Meat & Grocery for a long time, and my experience has always been positive. The staff works very hard, especially during busy times like Eid, to serve the community with honesty and respect. Seeing negative comments about qurbani meat only based on weight is disappointing. Qurbani is an act of worship done for the sake of Allah, not just focusing on pounds of meat. If someone only cared about getting a certain amount of meat, they could simply buy regular meat instead of ordering qurbani. People should understand that the live weight of an animal is not the same as the final cleaned meat you take home. There are fat, bones, organs, the head, lungs, skin, and other parts that are removed during the process. Anyone familiar with qurbani or halal meat preparation already knows this. Leaving public accusations and damaging reviews without understanding the full process creates unnecessary negativity and gives a bad impression of our Muslim community. Islam teaches patience, fairness, gratitude, and good character, especially during Eid. Before trying to harm a halal business that works hard for the community, people should think carefully about the consequences of spreading negativity online.”
“Nothing but positive experiences in this store. Most of the time they have all the sale items in stock. Rarely need help as everything is easy to find, but when I do the employees are nice and provide help. My absolute favorite grocery store.”

“probably the BEST healthy hot food you could get yourself in this area, and the price is hard to beat. $13 for 3 pieces of seasoned baked bone-in chicken, kale salad, and baked ziti. everything is made fresh. the meat is juicy and not dry. definitely recommend the baked ziti & the meatballs! this is also vegetarian and vegan friendly, they have so many options. they post what they have on their instagram everyday.”
