Absolutely disgusting and not professional at all. My package said that it was delivered but it was not in front of my door. I have a ring camera so I could see if someone came by or not. I called once in the morning at the man I spoke to had an attitude telling me to call back after the mail carrier "looks" for my package. Later in the day I called back and a man named Teddy (who supposedly is the supervisor) literally SCREAMED at me over the phone because I asked if the mail carrier remembered where she put my package because it was not there or if she could possibly help me locate where she put it and hold it at the post office. He was nasty and was very rude in the way he yelled at me on the phone. He yelled over and over, "so you're calling us a liar?" And I never said that but I also stated that there is a camera ON my door and I saw the mail carrier walk past my door so it couldn't have been delivered to me. I am appalled and I can't believe that someone who is considered management would scream at someone on the phone because a package of over $250 of makeup is still missing. I've worked in customer service settings for years and I've never dealt with anything like this. He does not deserve to be a manager or to even have a job where he is dealing with actual human beings.

Worse service and Asian woman at window today 9.09am very racist. Accused me of cheating postage when I had a prepaid label. She treats the Asian customers very nice. Please remove her from there. Third visit she did this.

I would give this 0 stars if that was an option. I have an Aliexpress package that was supposedly being delivered by my local delivery center. The seller says USPS is delivering it & since its been a while, I came to this location to follow up on the status, since the USPS phone # is literally useless. The supposed manager (a rude, blunt, bald, freckled, short man with glasses and an orange plaid shirt, with an accent) was not only condescending, patronizing and arrogant but dismissed my predicament entirely. He said "the tracking # didn't belong to them & as such, why should he even look it up for me? It's not their problem." I explained the seller said USPS intercepted the package. They need documentation in writing, saying they can't deliver the package in order to get a refund. He said "why should I write something for you? It's not my problem." It's men like this that keep perpetuating how inept, slow, inefficient, old fashioned and useless the USPS can be. The staff here definitely live up to that reputation- of being braindead slow in thought and actual working pace. Everyone who walks into this Fresh Meadows branch cringes- from the long lines that never end, to the terrible attitudes the employees here throw at us patrons. Everyone here, including this man, has that attitude of "heck, how should I know, that's not my problem & gee, sucks to be you then."

The lack of professionalism here is so great you question why the workers are there for. As I rarely do shipping, I naturally have no experience in the process of having my things shipped out. But the person working there makes it worse by not only providing a vague direction and then proceeds to question if I know what I am doing. Like I wouldn’t be there asking him for help multiple times if I did know what I’m doing. His lack of understanding, manners, and empathy is truly deplorable.

If you want fast service, the USPS is not it. I've noticed that this location is always short on shipping supplies, particularly the medium-sized priority mail boxes. It's happened so many times that I've had to drive to maybe one or two other locations. I mostly use this location to deposit packages into the package slots. Like the other locations I've been to, they take their sweet time doing their jobs.

Going to this place and even simply trying to pick up a package makes you realize why the USPS is failing.Instead of trying to help, I'm asked "why do you think your package is here?" Hello? This is the main sorting post office that serves our local zip code. Where else would my package be?Of course, I've yet to meet a courteous postal clerk. They're apathetic at best or actively trying to ruin your day at worse. I'm not kidding. I brought in 8 packages for drop off, and the lady at the counter watches me lift in 8 of 30 lb boxes. As I bring the first one to be scanned, I'm told "You have too many for the front desk. You're supposed to bring it to the back lot."Amazing. You tell me that now after watching me carry in all the boxes. She wouldn't take in the boxes probably because she would have to move them to the back instead of me. Imagine that doing actual work.Overall, I actively avoid the USPS whenever possible. Absolute shame what this once great American institution has degenerated into.

Alexis is so rude and unprofessional, seems like she wants to get paid for doing no work. She treats everyone so badly there, poor mannerisms. Also, shipped out my package late over by a week and now I can’t get my refund, thank you Alexis for your horrible service. First time at that location I’ve seen such a bad employee.

The people are okay. The line can get very long especially during lunch time. It's nice that there's a whole parking lot at the back.

horrible service. especialy from Teddy, to be told my change of address has been submitted and then they don't know why the carriers are sending mail to my old address when this is my 3rd time calling. completely disrespectful thinks he can just hang up the phone. DO YOUR JOB RIGHT!

I wish i can give a zero star instead of one star.The usps would drive you crazy from feb. 2 till feb 10.I send a package to the receiver.The carrier who delivery the package send the package to the wrong address cause lack of the ink. (so how guess which one he delivery to)▪There's no one who follow up the case▪I was calling the post office Every Day. (Being hanging off (3times), nobody pick the phone (5times), saying the computer is slow that would call me back ( half hour, one hour passed. Nothing happen.▪I called Customer issues another case from higher level of the usps.(it doesnt work out!she said the package has no insurance and usps wouldn't refund the amount that package valued. EVEN without saying sorry)(she just give a call asking if I lost package or not,I replied yes. Without asking anything detail, she trying to hanging off the phone. I hold her and explained she. So she Finally realized.)(she said she would send a email to me for the result. But couple days has passed, nothing from usps)▪I called local usps again, asking for the detail.(they said the only solution is let carrier get package back from the wrong address and re-delivey to the right address)( I called"the carrier knocked on the door and no one listen)("they gonna ask another carrier to get back the package and saying would get result tonight-nothing happen)(I called next morning, usps doesn't listen what I AM asking, just repeat and repeat what she told me before.-come on, I just want yes or no to my question)No one follow up my case, I was crazy calling and calling!And i just call the local usps they give me the respond below.(the carrier who sent package went to the vocation~what's the estimate time I would get result how long does he take the vocation."as long as he needs to."I was telling Customer service that my receiver was also waiting for the order"(She just repeat what she said again and again!(and she said the case has been closed)........WHAT......IF YOU GUYS CAN FIGURE OUT, DO IT AND NEVER RELY ON THE usps.
