“A crazy, vaguely organized store of random things.
Whether you're looking for a sheet set, rugs, a mattress, snacks, coffee, pots and pans...or anything in between, you could possibly find it there.
If you're easily overwhelmed by piles of products and narrow aisles then you should pribably skip it, if you love finding the treasure you didnt know you needed amongst all the rando things you'll never need- then this is the place for you.”
“Just like any other 5 below really. Not much is $5 or less anymore, but I think we all know this by now. My only complaint for this location is that the isles are very thin. It makes it near impossible to go through unless you're the only one in it. I'm sure that's something out of their control; probably corporate orders.”
“Very nice store for being so big definitely be cautious of electronics my dumb self threw away my recipt and the electronic I bought refuses to charge so I'm out 15 luckily it was just that but be aware check before you throw away recipts from here with electronic devices otherwise over all easy 5* very friendly very helpful staff I was a pain that day and she still helped with no issues no hesitation and no agervation very quick to help haven't been back in 2 weeks but hope she works there still because made the experience there very nice for my first time going to that store itself I'd definitely go back wish I got her name to try to boost her up for the service she provided very nice lady looked like early 40s very very sweet woman was early in the morning too so was definitely a busy time for her still as I just got there 10 mins after opening that is a hard time to help people the way she did me and got me everything I needed to find that I couldn't myself and helped pick the best option if I see her again I'll definitely update with her first name and definitely would talk high of her to corporate with how well she did I was in a rush too and was fast and efficient there”
“We go to the Dollar tree and I'm doing that we find all kinds of good stuff there.The items there are very reasonable and if you're lucky sometimes you might be able to get them the next time you go but that's not always the case so take it while you can.The store is very and the cashiers that work there are very nice and very friendly...So if you're looking to find some nice things go to the Dollar tree in South glens Falls and you'll find some good stuff that is a good price..Enjoy your shopping at the Dollar tree...”
“Devon is absolutely awesome! He clearly goes above and beyond to make the storage experience helpful and pleasant. It snowed while we loaded the truck rental out front, and he literally (without us asking) came by and cleared the snow off of the truck window so we wouldnt have to. Every time we have stopped by and run into him, he has always been pleasant and helpful. I truly hope he is recognized in some way for his above and beyond customer service!”
“I love tye fort Edward dollar general they have awesome workers friendly never rude always helpful always stocked with all there products id rather go there just bc of the way the workers are then go to walmart sometimes. Thanks everyone that works there for everything even putting up with the crazy kids that run in and out all the time..”
“This Dollar General Store on the Hudson Falls Shopping Plaza is definitely one of the best dollar stores in the community. There, they have certain stuff that are affordable. Especially Fourth Of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and especially Christmas.”
“The few times I’ve shopped the check out was slow I was impressed with the pet section although recently got home and noticed it expired in Aug after the fact dog ate most bones will check the dates going forward”
“They're very friendly. Very helpful. Prices are very reasonable. They ask you if you need help carrying your stuff to the car, i usually decline because i'm strong i'm tough bags suck though. if you have a return they don't give you a hassle or ask you tons of goofy questions like other stores do. I really like the store they always have what you want. Just grab n go and you're out of there.”
“They had a huge variety of items, so instead of going straight to what I needed: I browsed and found other items too! Staff is friendly and items were easy to find. Of course it's no longer the Dollar Tree, it should be renamed the Five Bits store since its $1.25 now!”

This store is clean all the time and I feel safe during the pandemic to pick up items I may need throughout the week. “The most organized Dollar Tree in the area. All though, the carpet could stand to be replaced. The staff are never the same either. Constant turnover. Better holiday items then ever before. Alot of party supplies. Your never know what you'll find for a buck. Shop smart because some things are not worth a dollar.”

“The manager September is great, very helpful and kind. Ashley is a great employee and is also very kind and helpful. I don't know the others on a first name basis though. In fact, one particular female employee with dark, curly, short hair was quite rude to me once. But the rest of them are all nice and approachable.Good selection of items... Not enough grocery items, but they are working on getting there. Just remodeled and added tons of new items. And its in a good, easy to walk to location. You can mostly just use the bike trail if you want.”
“Well as we all know by now it is the 1.25 Tree in regardless we've all struggled financially with the state of our nation but I will say this they've come a long way from way back when when they opened up and they have evolved into a store that many times when you leave you can't believe that you paid $1.25 for the item that you have if you realistic and you understand usually we get what we pay for every now and then we get a little extra and it lasts a little longer than we ever would have imagined it too so what can it hurt?”
