“Very good place to go with someone who is just learning how to play golf. Interesting short course of nine holes. In good condition with nice but slow greens. The relatively flat terrain makes it easy for a beginner to get around. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Not crowded so we could play at our own pace without holding anyone up.”

“This is an old historic home and it comes with all the character and imperfections. I loved it! The grounds are scenic and the location is convenient to West Point, Woodbury Commons, Newburgh, and the many restaurants in Cornwall. Our hosts were great and the breakfast offerings were delicious. When I'm in the area, I will definitely look to stay here.”

“We had our wedding at The Spruces and it was the best spot. The property is unique and beautiful with tons of room for activities! Chris and Erica were amazing hosts every step of the way, and have a ton of cool stuff on-site that they let us use freely (plus really cool vintage dinnerware for rent). They really maintain the grounds well. It rained a LOT the night before and everything dried up in time, which basically saved the whole event.”

“The Play Connection at Jefferson Valley Mall is a fantastic spot for kids' parties and activities. With a bouncy castle for jumping, a big-screen Mario Kart setup, ping pong tables, arcade games, and more, there's plenty to keep kids entertained for hours.
One of the highlights is the life-sized train that takes you on a ride around the mall, which our son absolutely loves. A train ticket is only $3, and access to the play area during the day is $12 per hour—well worth it for the fun and excitement.
It’s a great place to bring the whole family, and the friendly, attentive staff make the experience even better. Highly recommend for a fun family outing!”
“Little disappointed that they removed the whirlpool. It was a long drive in an uncomfortable car. We were looking forward to relaxing in the whirlpool. Rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.Food & drinks: Redline diner and cracker barrel are across the street.”

“We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and the entire team. Our wedding day was genuinely the best day of our lives, and that is largely thanks to Annie, Fatmira, and everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes.
From the moment the day began, they made everything feel seamless and stress free. Annie and Fatmira went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy each moment. Their professionalism, kindness, and calm energy made such a difference.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The views were breathtaking and created the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and photos. Our guests also loved staying in the Inn rooms, which were comfortable, clean, and such a special part of the experience. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready. It was spacious, beautiful, and a relaxing place to spend the morning with my bridesmaids.
We have received countless compliments from our guests not only about the gorgeous venue, but also about the incredible food and the outstanding service. Everything truly exceeded our expectations.
We are forever grateful for the care, effort, and heart that went into making our wedding day so special. We highly, highly recommend this venue and team to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience.
