“We had a wonderful wedding at The Garrison in August in 2024- from the minute we saw this breathtaking venue, we knew it was a special place where we could see ourselves spending one of the most important days of our life. I immediately got in touch with Bridget, who from day one was super accessible, transparent, kind and willing to work with us. Bridget walked us through the entire planning process, from a tasting where we were made to feel super special by the wonderful Fatima (who ended up being our day of attendant and was AWESOME) to every last detail of our special day. The venue itself is gorgeous, the sunset over the mountains, the floor to ceiling windows, the beautifully maintained grounds - our guests were in AWE. The staff was wonderful, they made sure to treat our wedding party extra special and gave great service to our guests. My morning getting ready in the bridal suite was peaceful and easy and Bridget and Fatima kept things on task. We knew our day was in great hands with Bridget and the team at The Garrison and we can't thank them enough for making our wedding such a memorable and beautiful day.

“Very good place to go with someone who is just learning how to play golf. Interesting short course of nine holes. In good condition with nice but slow greens. The relatively flat terrain makes it easy for a beginner to get around. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Not crowded so we could play at our own pace without holding anyone up.”

“We had a great time over the week of the West Point graduation. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. Troy's attention to our needs and requests was immediate and cheerful.
We left a piece of electronic equipment in our room when we left. I called Troy from the airport and he assured me that he would retrieve the item and mail it to us which he did. We greatly appreciate his attention to our needs. He also prepared wonderful breakfasts for us all four days that we were there. We would stay at the Inn again if we had the chance.”

“Faraway Alpaca Farm was such a memorable experience. The farm tour has to be set up before arriving ($25/per person). This can be done by going to the web site. When I did our tour, I received replies and confirmations immediately. Upon arriving, you are greeted by the farm owners/tour guides, Steve and Leda. They are both knowledgeable, cordial, funny, and the entire tour was educational, fun, and wonderful. Aside from alpacas, you'll also be introduced to their horses and donkeys. After the tour, we went through their gift shop, which had everything alpaca. From socks, to hats, and even ribbons of their award winning alpacas. As the pictures and videos will show, I highly recommend this tour and know that you will be thoroughly impressed.”

“The Play Connection at Jefferson Valley Mall is a fantastic spot for kids' parties and activities. With a bouncy castle for jumping, a big-screen Mario Kart setup, ping pong tables, arcade games, and more, there's plenty to keep kids entertained for hours.

One of the highlights is the life-sized train that takes you on a ride around the mall, which our son absolutely loves. A train ticket is only $3, and access to the play area during the day is $12 per hour—well worth it for the fun and excitement.

It’s a great place to bring the whole family, and the friendly, attentive staff make the experience even better. Highly recommend for a fun family outing!”

“Little disappointed that they removed the whirlpool. It was a long drive in an uncomfortable car. We were looking forward to relaxing in the whirlpool. Rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable.Food & drinks: Redline diner and cracker barrel are across the street.”
