Kindred Fare
512 Hamilton St, GenevaThe food was outstanding but the menu is a little limited and very specific. The volume of the restaurant and music is on the louder side so if you are looking for a quiet place this isn’t it. It’s also not cheap so be prepared… but again the food was great!

WeBe Brewing Company
796 Pre Emption Rd, GenevaVery enjoyable brewery stop with the family on what turned out to be NY Craft Beer Day! The beer and food were both very solid, but our favorite aspect had to be the atmosphere. It's such a comfortable spot, with numerous activities to get into if that's your thing. We will definitely be back!
The one tiny issue we had was that the website directed us to untappd for the beer list, but then that beer list ended up being more of a beer archive than an active beer list. That was misleading, but that's a small demerit. This place was overall fantastic.

Water St. Cafe
467 S Exchange St, GenevaWe absolutely fell in love with Water St. Cafe.
Interestingly, it was a Border Agent more than two hours away that recommended this diner. I mean…cmon.
My wife realized we tried to dine here in 2022, but unfortunately were unable to wait for a table.
I dined solo on Sunday for breakfast while my wife was racing Musselman. We returned on Monday for my round two.
This local, family owned restaurant represents all that is good in the world. It reminds me of home. It’s a place where people connect. Places like this are the heart of the community. When I dined solo, I was not alone. I was able to converse with a couple locals at the diner counter. Learned a lot about the area.
Beth waited on me on day one and my wife and I on day two. I also got to meet her daughter and grand daughter who volunteered at the race. She is sweet as apple pie, as were the other staff that I was able to meet. I look forward to seeing them again.
Do yourself a favour and stop by for a bite. Get to know the locals. Slow down for just a moment.

Long Pier Ice Cream & Rentals
47 Lake Front Dr, GenevaLast June I came up to see my partner and we went to Long Pier Icecream, we each got a cone and they were bigger than I expected, the staff were super friendly as well. And the area around the shop is so scenic.
Once I finally moved up the first thing I wanted to do this summer is head down there to get some icecream with my partner.

Three Brothers Wineries and Estates
623 Lerch Rd, GenevaThis place is like a massive compound with plenty of spots to eat, drink and be merry! This is my second time here and while disappointed by the beers on tap this time around, still had a good time. The first time I visited, I bought a ton of beer to bring home since so many were incredible. That said, for me, the beer selection here is hit or miss. It's very lively with some areas having live music. The merch is cool and stylish. Our sub was meh but other food items looked good. The wait time for the sub was rough but bar service was very friendly and efficient.
