“Great shop! Got me in and out in 30 minutes without an appointment for an inspection. I know that may sound like a normal shop, but to be honest I had been struggling to find a shop that would actually inspect my car because it's an EV. I had already gone to 6 different shops over the 2 previous weeks and they all either said 6 hour wait or just couldn't inspect my vehicle because they didn't have the proper lift. I get that EVs have different jack points but honestly some of the previous shops I tried just felt like they didn't want to bother because inspections are such low ticket items and EVs don't have oil changes and other items to up charge with at those appointments. The staff at scruggs was very professional and polite especially for a walk in and I really appreciate that they accommodated me quickly that morning and got me on my way. The funny thing too is that just this week I've had 3 other people mention Scruggs in conversation and how much they like the shops and how good they all were so keep up the good work guys. It's clearly getting out how quality of a shop you are. If you are looking for a good auto shop for a tesla/EV this is definitely the place. More than likely they are just as good for ICE vehicles as well so give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed”

“I have a 2013 Nissan Juke. For over a year I had a problem with wheels alignment. I used to take it to the mechanic every 2 months to address the problem. I switched to Willco Auto Care recently. The entire experience was very pleasant, their customer service is immaculate, Will and Justin are great, they know very well how to explain things over the phone, they’re very comprehensive and informative. Willco’s schedule is very organized. No overlaps, no over crowded parking and everything is clean & spotless. My car is finally fixed now! I highly recommend this place.”

I don't have a regular garage, and have only visited a few repair shops over the years with different cars Ive had. Most recently after parking my key fob became stuck and the starter didn't engage. After trying AAA for a jump (and sold a new battery) I found myself in need of repair when the new battery didn't start the car.
Using AAA to tow it over. Ive never been here and honestly have barely noticed it on Edward St when Ive driven by. Set back from the road a bit with their parking lot in front, upon walking in you realize how deep the building is and how much fits in it. (Neat)
Well they gladly accepted my car, I had it towed after calling and discussing what I knew with Chris over the phone and make sure they had availability.
The reason that I came here for wasnt as serious as I feared. Upon coming back those fears were met by what it cost to pass the NYS inspection. Obviously no fault of their own, I have a 2013 Chevy that is a hand me down from my parents and had already expected one issue that would probably needed to be addressed. (The Tires)
Overall Im really impressed with Towne Motor Car, they were genuinely nice with every interaction and gave me the information that I needed to make a decision or had the conversation with me when what I thought was an issue wasnt. What really impressed me was when I had my car in for the starter issue they fixed the key issue (separate issue in my mind) and they even put my slightly fallen bumper back in place. Going above and beyond for a customer, very strange nowadays. But greatly appreciated!
Bringing back in for the inspection they were easy to coordinate the drop off (key in the box, but they were open before 8 to hand it off). I received a call mid-morning to go over the issues needed to be addressed and got a timely call and text near the end of the day to pick it up. Plus they have a website where you can review your past service history, and make appointments. They even use your preferred communication method to reply back (call or text).
Although I hope I dont need it soon, I think I found a garage to stick with.”
“I have been going here for a couple years now ever since I got my new car. They are reasonably priced for a first come first serve shop. Mostly just get oil changes and smaller stuff done here but have heard some people getting more major jobs done here as well. Wait times aren’t bad either. Recently all dealerships systems had been hacked making it more difficult to do paperwork and write ups, even w this annoying issue I was outta there in about an hour and a half for an oil change, spark plugs, manual transmission fluid flush and coolant flush.”

“I am reporting on two visits. The first was for four new tires. It took 3.5 hours and they were closing up as I was leaving. The problem was that the car had “gone to sleep” and until it woke up the needed electrical adjustments could not be made. I had never heard of such a thing and none of the staff could explain it. I believe the work was done well but given the original estimate of time (an hour or less), I was frustrated with the wait and lack of understandable rationale. $50 was deducted from the bill as a courtesy.
The second visit was for diagnosing and repair a tire that was losing air. This was on a different car. It took an hour and went smoothly.
I should add that prior to these visits we had regularly used Dunn and will continue.”
“In a world where it’s very VERY difficult to trust auto mechanic's, these guy’s are the real deal. I’m grateful for the work they’ve done to my Audi as well as my father’s Porsche. I always recommend anyone who has a Euro car to them. Always honest. Always a reasonable price. I hope places like this put dealerships out of business. “I was a loyal customer of Delta Sonic for years, but always drove past the Valvoline location next door and wanted to give it a try. The crew at Valvoline far exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they didn't try to upsell me with too many extra services that I didn't want. They made sure to explain all of the benefits of using Valvoline to me, while getting my oil change done quicker than I've ever seen before! (Only 11 minutes) Additionally, the prices for oil changes are very reasonable. I am very impressed with the crew at the Transit Rd. Williamsville, NY Valvoline, and they have secured my future business for both of my vehicles!”
“I had another nice experience at Valvoline at NFB@ Willow Ridge. They communicate everything as they are doing and it always ask before they open the car door to scan your vehicle info. They're never pushy and they've even told me previously, when I didn't need a tire rotation, as I usually do both at the same time. I appreciate them not trying to push for extra services that I don't need yet. Money saved is money I will spend later, when my tires do need rotating, at places I trust, like Valvoline. Thanks for great honest customer service!”
“I had a really positive experience here. Every employee was exceptionally courteous and polite. My oil change and tire rotation were completed in just 45 minutes. “Ya know its kinda sad and poor reflection of the company when you have been a customer for over 15 years. And then get talked about behind your back the entire time your there. Made fun of and woofed at as your leaving just because you have the gall to display your personal lifestyle by wearing something as simple as a dog collar. It really shows how immature and insecure the technicians are that they have to make fun of a customer in front of every other customer in the shop at the time. I guess ill start going to Monro across the street, never had any issues and they've treated me with decency and respect.
I refuse to support any business that harasses their customers because of what they look like, or what they wear. Im sure you'll get far in life (not really).

One of the owners called me directly to apologize for the behavior of the technicians. They said they they were investigating the incident and would follow up later on. Ill update my review from 1 star to 3 for management looking into the incident and addressing it.

The owner did follow up and assure me that the matter has been resolved and offered a personal hand written apology and explanation of what they did to address the incident. More businesses need to take the time to connect with their customer and address issues as the owner did. It helps foster a sense that your a person and not just revenue. That you matter and they want you to be happy and keep coming back too their business.”
