“Since moving to New York, Half Time has been my go to store for online and in person shopping. They have a great selection of local gems (Mortalis mixed packs and fresh Marlowe ?). Most things are available as singles for those that like to explore different styles. Prices are generally pretty reasonable based on the market and are often running promotions online. “One of my favorite places to buy beer. From the outside you'd probably never guess that the inside is the beer equivalent of a candy store. Tons of interesting beers from the bigger names all the way down to the super small local guys (they have a TON of long Island made beers and a lot of Northeast exclusive beers). I haven't found another local store that carries this much varied inventory (in such a small, yet packed location) and still manages to cycle through new inventory faster than I can try them. The prices are fairly reasonable considering you can buy single cans/bottles of whatever's on the shelf (there aren't prices posted but I usually average $3.50-5.50 depending on the can size). The staff here is extremely pleasant and helpful. They'll help you if you want recommendations or leave you alone if you just want to peruse (instead of following you around, commenting on every bottle you pick up). I wish I drank more often so I could come back and try more of their stuff haha.”
