“In general this bank keeps poor records. They overcharged me for interest payments for 6 months in 2019. Eventually got them to reverse the charges. When I hit some personal financial hardship and ran a few weeks late (not 30 days), and then got COVID and was quarantined they wouldn't take the payment over the phone. That then hit my credit and they gave no concessions!Ok, so an update:I emailed the President of the organization on a Saturday. The President - not a representative - called me back on a Saturday to address my concerns! This one act of servant leadership has completely changed my perspective! I will ALWAYS be a member of this organization, at least as long as Michael Castellana is their President and CEO.”

“I've been a member of this credit union for many years and I find that the service is excellent. I have always experienced the tellers and managers as cordial, efficient and extremely helpful. Attitude is everything and I feel that they appreciate my business. I've also had a good experience dealing with them by phone - which is usually a nightmare when trying to navigate the phone systems of large corporations. They're in the process of merging with another credit union and so far, the service has remained the same. I hope it continues but have no reason to think that the service will change. I also have a mortgage with this group for the past 3 years and that was also an astonishingly positive experience. I can't say enough good things about this place.”

Their hours are convenient, they always have several tellers waiting to help with normal banking deposits and withdrawals (and several others who help with things like loans and such), and they are all super friendly. SEFCU handled my car loan and my home mortgage and both processes went super easy. The only downside to this location is that on NYS payday the place is mobbed! I avoid it that day whenever possible.”
