“The staff is friendly and Customer service is ususally helpful. However, The quality of this Price Chopper has declined over the last year. 10 checkout lines but only one or two are ever open. You have to go to Self Checkout.”

“Really interesting unique pastries and chocolates, plus fresh produce. Quality beer and hard cider. Astounding prices— LOW. My only complaint is: what do you do if you don’t have a quarter for the shopping trolleys? Who carries change these days? And I get not having disposable bags but surprisingly I didn’t even see reusable bags that you could purchase… and the self-checkout system was pretty seamless but the one employee they had on register checkout was a bit languid to be honest; not very efficient. Overall, it’s an awesome store, I think.”
“Food and prices are literally a steal. I can believe all the great food I got for the price I paid. The if your going to the Albany location which has more options then the one in Hudson but expect long lines and only one cashier. Took forever to get out of there. Always bring a quarter as you have to pay for a cart when you arrive. You literally can't get a cart without a quarter.”
“2023 update: Cheaper of the chains around. Biggest complaint. Time to upgrade to allowing people to ring their own groceries up. Whether you put in unmanned booths or make an app to scan your own stuff and pay for it like BJs.While the cashiers that are there and come to work are always friendly and personable..They're not always there..time to come into 2023 ShopRite!”
“Neighborhood grocery store fresh collards (seasonal), carrots, onions, garlic, peppers, cabbage grocery ailes of boxed food, canned goods, Goya products and a butcher. Cut oxtail, snow crab legs (ask butcher for Crab!) Chicken breast, beef bacon, sausages, chicken wings Meat boxes, milk aluminum pans, you name it you may find it at Halal Grocery Neighborhood grocery New York Supermarket Follow the Chronicles.....”
“Visited there rarely,but i must say,their chicken samosa was way more delicious, unfortunately vegetable curry was unavailable, heard that curry is so delicious, similar to Bangladeshi cuisine. Good collections of various products, cookeries.Also bought their frozen fish vorta(Taaki), spicy and mouthwatering taste,but chicken kabab was not delicious as expected. But for other iems ( like Ice-cream,chocolate etc,easily available in Walmart or other stores,it'll be better to not buy from here,as these items are super expensive here).
But,their samosa,mixed vegetables in another level,must try item.
Overall,their staffs are very friendly.”

“I went to enter the store, which had an open side, only to see a chain across the gated entrance. Apparently, they're not letting anyone enter other than the folks who work or just hang out there.A man quickly approached and asked what I needed. He went and got it while I stood at the gate, took my credit card, and gave me my items.A different way of doing business but it worked.”

I was so impressed by the manager Brian this morning because I left my wallet home so I was flustered! “The meat department is great, and the meat department manager is the absolute best! Overall the story is clean but quite small lacking variety. The staff is overall quite nice and they do the best given the smaller location. I do wish they would make the store slightly bigger and eliminate some of the parking space that doesn't seem to be used. It would make for more product availability and variety. The parking lot just doesn't seem to need to be so big. So, the milk expires days before the expiration date. Consistently. Otherwise a great store.”

Our wedding was on Friday October 24th 2025. I had Marion from Market 32 at 1730 Central ave. She was phenomenal! I met with Marion a few months before the wedding and ordered a large amount of flowers! I ordered a bridal bouquet, a throw away bouquet, 5 bouquets for the bridal party, 13 boutonnieres, 6 corsages, rose petals for the flower basket, fresh flowers for the cake, and flowers for our sweetheart table. We had all the flowers delivered to the venue. Marion was an absolutely wonderful person to work with and she double checked with me all of my details before the wedding day. I highly recommend her to do flowers for any wedding or event! She was amazing and everything came out beautiful!”

“I placed an online order at Jersey Mike’s, and it completely flopped. The service was slow and unhelpful, and the sub was so poorly prepared that I ended up throwing it out. After that experience, I went to Price Chopper instead, and it was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, the prices were reasonable, and the sub had double the meat compared to Jersey Mike’s. The difference in quality and overall experience was night and day. Thank you Price Chopper for saving my lunch today!”
