“If you like Lindt, this place had all sorts of flavors and varieties. I picked up Easter Candy and some nice boxes to give as gifts. Having them individually wrapped is helpful during the pandemic. Once this is over though, I do think individually wrapped candies are wasteful, especially because they use shiny plastic or foil. I know the dull wax paper on tootsie rolls isn't pretty or shiny, but I don't feel guilty about the wrappers. It's bad enough you have have a guilt trip from the calories, but for me it adds on with the wrappers, so 4 out of 5.”
“People from all over the world who try sugar waffles from the Crystal Beach Candy Company are amazed at how sweet and delicious they really are. They make a perfect gift for any occasion. This locally owned and operated business is one of the few small companies left in our town that understands the value of hard work to produce quality products. “I visited this store on a short vacation to see the Falls. It was so conveniently situated between my lodging and Niagara Falls. The store felt like stepping back in time with all the old fashioned candy. They really have a nice selection of gifts. The Irish/Celtic section was cool and all the Christmas displays were great as well. Had I been able to buy the Celtic necklace I wanted, this review would definitely be five stars. It would have been perfect for a friend, but the young woman wouldn't sell me the display item. That aside, I would recommend checking out this store when in the area.”
