“Walking past it the first time, en route to the Bird Kingdom, it looked super busy, but we made it a point on the way back to stop here and was NOT disappointed! The owner is a super sweet gentleman and incredibly polite. We got two slices of fudge, a cherry slushie, and a #2 (two ice cream scoops on a medium cone) and everything hit the spot. The fudges were one of the best I've had in a very long time. Not excessively sweet, and with the perfect crumble. Great shaded location to relax, look out to the Rainbow Bridge, and just indulge our sweet tooth. Definitely on our "go to" whenever we return!”

“If you like Lindt, this place had all sorts of flavors and varieties. I picked up Easter Candy and some nice boxes to give as gifts. Having them individually wrapped is helpful during the pandemic. Once this is over though, I do think individually wrapped candies are wasteful, especially because they use shiny plastic or foil. I know the dull wax paper on tootsie rolls isn't pretty or shiny, but I don't feel guilty about the wrappers. It's bad enough you have have a guilt trip from the calories, but for me it adds on with the wrappers, so 4 out of 5.”

“Fowler's has the best chocolate and sponge candy in WNY! On a recent visit, we found the the décor and ambience cozy and delightful. A friendly, efficient employee helped us find the products we were looking for and the store had a great selection of candy in a variety of price ranges.We purchased Fowler's Chocolates dark chocolate sponge candy, chocolate bars in three different flavors, and chocolate suckers. Everything was delicious.”

“Ice cream and staff good blah blah blah. Now let’s talk about the decorum: there are enough light fixtures to make the Rockefeller tree jealous. Their use of shelves is pathetic at best. Despite the janitorial staff keeping the place clean, the wall decorum made me writhe in disgust. I’ll be on a spiritual retreat for the next couple months, but when I’m back, I hope to see you make some aesthetic alterations. Not trying to be petty, just trying to inspire some well-needed adjustments as a life-long Kenmore resident”

“Very well stocked halal meat and fish store! I found everything on my list for groceries, and snacks too and they gave the freshest, leanest meat, chicken and ground beef I've ever bought! The owners were SO nice, and they even packed the order in separate bags for me and gave my son freebies chips and water, too! Well worth our 1 hour drive. God Willing will definitely be back here!”

“I went to the $10 bag sale. It was crazy! The line was really long but moved quickly. I had never been to the sale before and did not realize it was only pretzels so that was a little disappointing. They are delicious but I'm not sure if I will go again.”

“The fudge from this store is amazing they always have a wide variety but not so much to overwhelm. And you can never go wrong with what you choose. They all taste delicious. “Came for sugar and lunch - what a gem! Best grilled cheese ever (the kids said), and the sundaes are classically satisfying (spooning partially melted ice cream and syrup out of a cold metal bowl is one of life's great experiences). The chocolates we tried were all excellent (peanut butter cups a highlight), and sponge candy is an airy revelation - though it's kind of overwhelmed in a sundae, better to eat it on its own. Interior was restored in 2017 and is absolutely gorgeous, a time machine to another century. The center booth in the back is THE place to sit if you have 4 people or fewer, and the path to the bathrooms is a don't-miss spatial experience through a semi-secret door.”

“I absolutely love this quaint store. It is a regular shop of mine. They have a little bit of everything for anybody from chocolates to bath and personal care items to Buffalo clothing. They have it all they even have a hidden back room of Irish imports items not to mention the entire counter is nothing but crazy bulk candies, some that you probably haven’t seen in decades, definitely a place you want to stop to get a gift for someone or just to pick up that weird item for yourself you have to check it out.”
