It’s like a daily injection of positivity, sunshine, and energy to give you a charge! And her music selections are phenomenally on point and impeccably timed to match our efforts on the bike. Couldn’t recommend it any higher.. but I’ll stop there before they run out of space making it difficult to reserve a spot! :-)”
“Not your regular run of the mill retail store. Great vibes, knowledgeable players/trainers who are always attentive & honest. Definitely make you feel in casa. Good variety of playing/training gear too. Hicksville is the Mecca for ⚽. So many fields/green spaces to try out your new gear. Highly recommended, but don't take my word, check it out for yourself! My whole familia has been going there for years. Easy access off of 107 Broadway. “In my experience, tennis shops can be intimidating. Tennis people can be condescending and talk down to you. I went here for the first time today and had quite the opposite experience. Adam (I think the owner) was really nice, friendly, and open and respectful regarding pricing. I was shopping for a new racket. He asked me about my budget from the jump, which I thought demystified the whole process. I got a brand new Babolat racket with same- day stringing (picking up in a few hours). Got a great deal on a dress and shoes as well. I will definitely be back here for more tennis clothes as the selection and prices were amazing. I would recommend this place to anybody both for the service and selection.”

“I drove all the way from Manhattan to this store because they had the sneakers in stock I wanted to try on in my size. I was helped by Chase who was SO incredibly helpful. When he saw my issue he had other suggestions as to a better sneaker for me. If all places had a Chase - we would still have brick and mortar stores. I hope they know how valuable this employee is. “My son is just starting lacrosse, and the three workers who were there today couldn’t have been nicer. All were college lacrosse players and were very knowledgeable. They didn’t try to oversell and took the time with my son to see what was best for him. They taped his stick for him and explained basics. I’m sure bigger sports stores wouldn’t have given us this personalized attention nor would they have had the specific expertise. Thanks!!”

“I bought a pair of hockey skates at one of the big name hockey stores, but when I noticed the boots were cracked after a year they just shrugged, so I took them to Andy Cozzi to see if he could at least fix a torn eyelet. He could have sold me a new pair of pricey skates on the spot, but instead he repaired the eyelet for free and haggled with the manufacturer for months to get the skates not only replaced but upgraded. That personal touch and extra effort is the difference between a small craftsman and a big faceless corporation. Instead of making a quick buck Andy got a customer for life... even sharpened the new runners and refused to charge me. Great experience!”
“Needed a new pair of skates and was recommended by my brother to go see Dante instead of go to a random hockey store and I am extremely glad I did! Dante got me fitted and had me try on multiple skates and find out which ones fit best! He then ordered a special pair in my size for wide feet and I had them quickly shipped to the store where he had them heated and specially fitted to each foot and then he sharpened them absolutely perfectly! An absolutely incredible experience and deal as the price couldn’t of been beat and the knowledge and advice he gives you is brilliant, I would highly recommend going to see him and get your skates the right way if your serious about skating! “I like a good deal when you find one and this store has it. They have lots of models for Crocs, Birkenstocks, Converse, Vans etc. Even the hard to find Doc Martens have nice styles here. Self service. I like that no one bothers me while i look at what options are available for me. Find the size uou need on your own & try! Go to the counter when you’re ready- that simple. Staff keeps the place orderkg and items are easy to find.”
