“I had such a wonderful experience with Scott Berliner, RPH, and the entire team at Life Science. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and truly cared for. Scott spent an incredible amount of time with me and never once made me feel rushed. He listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and really took the time to understand my full health picture.
What stood out most was his compassion, professionalism, and depth of knowledge. It’s rare to find a practitioner who is not only extremely knowledgeable but also genuinely kind, patient, and invested in helping you get to the root of what’s going on.
After dealing with complex health issues for quite some time, it was incredibly refreshing to finally feel heard and understood. I left feeling hopeful and confident that I’m in very good hands.

Came back to Warwick years later as a physician and used Akins as my go to pharmacy for patients and later for myself , The new ownership preserves that local feel with some modern upgrades such as phone renewals with old prescription numbers.
There are bigger chain pharmacies around and they carry many more items of a non medication nature . But for prescription meds , the staff and service are super

“I've been using Shoprite Pharmacy for years... at least 6 years. Prescriptions are always filled within the hour of receiving the prescription. For me, always on the go... this is the most important. Friendly service, and always able to answer my questions.”
“They have so many different options to customize your photos. Many different print sizes, posters and magnet options. Very helpful staff and an easy to use Walgreens cell phone we app. Very fast pick ups available. You can even drop off the old cameras that you found in your nightstand and get them developed. It takes a few days but it's worth it. Many Walgreens have the photo department and I recommend them highly.”
“Called to check on a clients medication and because I had spent the whole day being denied TDAP vaccine I took a chance and asked if they offered it. The Pharmacist was patient informative and just so kind to me especially when I was so stressed. While I was at the pharmacy the entire staff was wonderful not only to myself but everyone I saw them come into contact with. All questions were answered all concerns addressed. Walmart needs to give everyone of the pharmacy employees raises because that’s the type of staff that people return for and leave feeling good. Love you all thank you for your kindness, and for me not getting Tetanus!!”

Now, however, things seem to have improved. I've used the pharmacy a few times over the past few months because other pharmacies in town weren't able to get certain meds, but Walgreens could — and the pharmacy's customer service both over the phone and in person was excellent each time. I know how hard the medical industry has been hit since the pandemic and the lack of professionals makes everything stack up and back up, but it's how staff treats customers that makes the difference, and the pharmacy has indeed stepped it up a big notch. I really hope that continues. For the rest of the store's staff, many have also improved their service and attitudes, although there are still a few who apparently didn't get the memo. But overall it's now a much more enjoyable and much less frustrating experience, and I hope that continues, too.”
