“If you need gas, this place has it! I'm not really how to write a review about this other than... I needed gas, and when I pulled in here, they had and let me pay them for it!”
“These are some stand-up guys. ?Always a good deal and very friendly? and they hold raffles with amazing prizes! Thanks a bunch fellas! this community appreciates you!?”
“Amazing spot. Lovely little market with a bunch of self-serve fro-yo machines plus toppings! And they use Chobani yogurt which means it's fair trade!! Great person behind the counter too.”

“Got this delivered considering the covid. First time trying this place and it's not bad. Chicken are very crispy and juicy, and still very hot when I received them. However the chicken are a bit salty for me, and I'd say it's more salty than Popeyes or KFC. The waffle fries are a must try tho! Will order from this place again.”
“Good little store. I go there a lot. The cashiers could be more friendly. I think the guy who usually waits on me doesn’t like me. He hasn’t smiled at me even once the whole time I have gone there. Good popcorn. Nice selection of sugar cereal. Not bad prices for a convenient store.”

“Great food for a gas station. I was very surprised how good their wings are. Staff is wonderful. I forgot to grab my fries the other day. Staff chased me down in the parking lot right before I left.”

“Whenever I visit my brother who goes to Cornell, I always make sure to stop by this 7/11 to get some cold sandwiches before I head back to the city. They have a side variety of food and snack options and their restrooms are very clean. The lines are occasionally big at night but I am always pleased with my visits here. Overall, a solid 7-Eleven.”

“I get my soda here at a low cost. There's Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, Schwepps, 7up, and many, more kinds. There's all types of designer drinks - both non-alcohol and with alcohol. A Very Kind family operated place. Thanks!”

“Beat Necessities is a convenience store in Cornell's North Campus with an attached mini-restaurant. Expect snacks, candy, fountain drinks, and pre-made sushi/salads/turkey clubs for the convenience store part. The grill has all the mainstays: chicken tenders, burgers, onion rings, fries, and sandwiches. The food from the grill is generally better than the dining halls, but students should be aware that meal plan swipes do not work (you will have to use Big Red Bucks). For those not on a Cornell meal plan, there are cheaper and better options off of the campus. If you don't want to go far (or if it's 1 am), then Bear Necesseties will be your best bet.”
“The woman who rang me out was an absolute gem of a human being, genuinely.
I was cold, in a horrible mood, had just gotten done with errands and being spoken to like a child- so this genuinely kindly cashier being just authentically nice to me really helped cheer me up.
I got a couple slices of pepperoni, a coffee, and a couple of drinks.
The pizza was hot and cheesy, and frankly really good quality for gas station pizza. The coffee was coffee, sweet, hot, warming. Nothing special, but certainly more than you'd expect from a gas station.
I'm genuinely glad I stopped here.”

“Stopped in after flying in to Ithaca at midnight, hungry and looking for some pick me up. Unfortunately the sub shop was closed and I settled for frozen pizza. Before checking out Chris happily informed me that he’d make me a sandwich right then and there. It really made my night and just made the start of my trip awesome. Thank you Chris for your kindness!”

“The counter help (Mary and Jay) were so helpful. I brought my team in expecting to grab McDonald's and they were running behind. So the Speedway workers stepped in and made us pizza quickly. We were back on the road with fully bellies after our game in no time!! Thank you!!”

“It's not bad. They have never overcharged me for my meds like Wegmans did, and they have kindly grabbed their own good rx cards for me before to help me pay for an unexpected co-pays. But they still aren't the best pharmacy I've ever been to. The best one in town though, yes.”

“Hot coffee, friendly service, guys were willing to give me directions. Very family friendly. Matt was especially helpful. Bully for you guys, giving a small town gas station cum convenience store such a good iteration. Not to mention, very clean. :-)”
“The best Walgreens Ive patronized by far, too bad its in Ithaca and Im leaving soon. Both employees I interacted with were extremely happy. One was stocking the pai. relievers and engaged me to assist finding what was needed. The other was the cashier,Jess, who assisted me in my first time adding money to a new Chime account and she just had a a great personality.”
“Excellent place! Rarely is it ever crowded and it is always stocked well. Friendly, welcoming employees. An efficient, speedy checkout process. A clean, neat store. The only problem is that it does not contain any restrooms. But on the whole, highly recommended!”
“This is the one and only gas station I go to in town. Its member card saves you 10c per gallon and gives you 10% off everything in the convenient store. The savings are great for an Uber driver like me and the discount on snacks for my riders is a bonus.”

“I mean ther's always room for improvements. But, twice I shopped on Cayuga St. and used points for a free fresh fresh brewed international cup of coffee and two slices of cheezy pizza for $1.62. Customer service from store managers was great! I was recognized as a team player and exec. - people in the store were watch my sales and service techniques- one guy from another vendor company said- 7-Eleven mgt. teaches and trains.
I'm definitely in the loop with the store and they know me.”

“Walgreens on meadow Street has some really wonderful staff. They're easy and accessible to get to whether you need drive-thru or in store service. They really know their patients and make you feel at ease.”
“This store has improved immensely in the past year. Most of the staff is hard working, friendly and knowledgeable. Bathrooms are clean and the pizza is pretty good, especially considering it's a gas station. Especially on Thursday when you can get an entire pizza for $8 and change. It's obvious the workers take pride in their work and their customer service.”

“The new manager made my day yesterday. The moment I walked through the door, she greeted me with a huge smile on her face. I really needed that today, really. She brought hope back in to my day. She listened to my troubles and genuinely cared. She didn't know me and still took the time to comfort me and show a little empathy. Her actions reminded me that there really ARE good people out there. She even hugged me. She was what this store has needed for a long time. Great job on this one. I hope you all know what an asset she is. I wish to thank her for making my day betterAlex”
“I come to Ithaca about 3 times a year and I love this place. I come here every time when I am in need of staples. It has everything you could want and spectacular selection of very good local beers, along with some ready to eat Pizza in a pinch. And not to hate, but it's a much, MUCH less stressful experience than being at the 7/11 across the street. Plus, you get an added benefit of helping out a small business and buying stuff from a cute store. Head to the Ithaca Mini Mart instead, it's a win/win!”
