I understand they used to be great, but now service our address through Casella and do not pick up for weeks after snow storms (with a reasonably clear road). We are going on three weeks with no pickup.Would not recommend if you have any alternative.

Sorry for the lengthy review but it is needed.I have had service from here for quite sometime now. I live in an apartment complex and one other family also uses their service. I came home one day and my cans were gone. I called and asked why since my bill was all paid and they said the other tenant didn’t pay their bill so they came and just grabbed some cans……. Ok. So Mike, the supervisor, told me to just take their cans and use them. Reluctantly, I did this, but I first talked to said tenant to let them know what was going on. Moving forward I had no issue until they started picking up my cans and leaving them in the middle of my driveway. Called and they said they would leave a note for the driver. Ok taken care of. Again, had an issue with other tenant and cans, called & got my cans returned. NOW FOR THE THIRD TIME, I look out my window this morning only to watch them take my cans from the side of the road, load them into their truck and take them AGAIN. Mind you, my bill is paid, I’ve never been late, it’s on autopay, I’ve never missed a payment, etc. I called this time very frustrated and got the “oh I’m sorry, I will see what we can do to have them returned soon” WHAT??? Returned soon? I told them they needed to bring them back now/today and that anything else wasn’t acceptable. They agreed and said they would be back today. I called an hour and a half before they closed at 5 to be told that they are so sorry but delivery of the cans are pushed back until the next day. Yeah no, that’s not okay. How am I penalized for their mistake three times??! I explained my frustration again and again and asked if I continue to do business with them how will they make sure this doesn’t happen again and they said they didn’t know as they have no protocol for apartment complexes to label which cans belong to who. So basically they said they can come and take whatever cans they want if someone in the complex hasn’t paid, no matter who the cans actually belong too. This was not an acceptable answer for me so the girl said it wasn’t her who was going to be picking up my garbage so she didn’t have an answer as to how to label it. She then sent my call to Mike. All was well (STILL WILLING TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM), until Mike treated me like I was less than nothing. Telling me that they have the right to come get THEIR cans and they just want to pick up garbage and that’s it. Well yeah, that’s all I want you to do too but I need my cans to do that. He kept chuckling at me like something was funny to him about this and like I was bothering him. Meanwhile my main concern was how are they going to make sure this doesn’t happen again. He said they will place a sticker on my cans and call it a day. They offered me HALF OFF for my “inconvenience” of three times of this happening. Two weeks free. What a joke. I agreed but this sat with me for the rest of the night as I was treated like they didn’t even care. I stuck with them knowing mistakes happen but I’ll be damned if you laugh right in my face over your own mistakes. I will no longer do business with them and will be switching companies. I don’t care if them losing one customer doesn’t mean anything to them, it’s the way they treated me, a loyal understanding customer, and will be damned if they get anymore of my hard earned money. I was frustrated but very polite but honestly, y’all can go kick rocks, I hope HR gives every one of you better customer service training.

I was on I87 behind one of their trucks and a piece of brick flew out of the truck and hit my car that I’ve owned at that time for only 2 months! I called and gave the customer service all the info of where it happened and the plate number of the truck. She apologized and said to email pictures of the damage to them. I emailed the pictures of the chips in my windshield and gashes on the hood of my car. I got no response. I emailed again, no response. My husband brought the car to Twin Bridges and the guy who looked at the car apologized and said he would file a claim. Followed up with him by leaving him a message because they wouldn’t put him on the phone and he never called us back. This happened in October of last year. As of today there has been no communication from them. My error was trusting their word that they would take care of the damage so I never filed a police report. It’s sad this can happen and no one there cared. If you are behind one of their trucks, move away from them because the owner of the company could care less if something happens to you due to their negligence. The truck ahead of me had a roll over tarp to insure everything stayed in the truck but the driver didn’t use it. Safety is not their concern….nor being responsible and paying for the damage caused by their truck not being properly secured so nothing would fall out of it. Always make sure you file a police report if something like this happens to you! Don’t take the companies word they will pay for damages. Cover yourself and file the police report!

Commercial service is terrible. Make false accusations as to not pick up and charge "varying" fee amounts every month.

These guys charged me for three months of service, did not actually take the garbage, canceled my service, took their garbage can back, and then told me I had to pay a delivery fee to restart service, even though… Wait for it, they never took the trash. It’s homeowner extortion, find another vendor. Beware, The Driver is going to mark your trash as picked up, even if he doesn’t pick it up, and this is how they defend, charging you for nothing.

they have been reliable and punctual. It is easy to communicate with them for questions. Altogether happy with the service.

3 stars because the drivers are great! Pick up is timely and always communicated if there is a holiday or change to day. Again, drivers are Fantastic. You better know what services you need and want because the customer service is lacking in helpfulness. I was answered with what are u looking for? So YOU BETTER KNOW. I am new to homeowning and trash service so I ask alot of questions. Trying to get service or questions answered is/was like pulling teeth. Will be looking for new trash services. I hope this helps

I’m bummed to learn that Twin is merging with Casella. I left Casella because their prices kept going up and then tried to charge a fuel surcharge. They say no changes but I’m betting that doesn’t last long. Guess it’s time to shop it around again. One star isn’t because of service, it’s because i think this merger is bad for the consumer. Competition breeds better pricing. This enables Casella to gouge additional customers.

Saw the news story where one of your trucks helped to stop a man with knives from attacking people. Great job guys!! This goes above and beyond community service. Will recommend all around. I've heard nothing but good things about your company.

As I waited by the window to make sure my overfull recycling bin was completely emptied, I witnessed the driver of the truck notice that a neighbor had not put out their bins. This driver took the time out of his route to go make sure that this neighbor didn't need to have their recycling disposed of. He didn't have to do that, he could have just drive past the house and gone about his day, but he had a human touch to the job. Good on you sir. Thank you for having people who care for the community members you serve. Always on time.Services: Waste recycling

I’m constantly in the hospital for my medical issues and ask to get my trash picked up when I get home from the hospital and they are going to tell me a $15 charge? When I’ve been a customer for over a decade. Just wow. Horrible customer service at all times from both the men and women that answer the phones! Better off taking my trash to the dump and buying the dump card again!

Literally just raced one of your trucks. Dude was doing about 85 mph and refused to let me pass him. Tell your drivers to slow down. They could save a life. Im also a business owner who uses your company and I pay for your gas with your lovely $20 fuel charge. Knock it off.
