“I'm giving the 5 star review because I have seen the owners reaction on an rc car driving into his store (youtube video). Good mindset! Store deserves all the publicity! Greetings from Belgium ??!”

“Sean, the owner, is a fantastic guy. Got us out early and gave good paddleboard pointers to the beginner. Also very adorably got out on the water himself with his daughter in tow in a kayak”

“I love this place. I used to go to Warrens Tackle because it was closer but after they closed I was looking for a new spot. Not just for tackle but for tips from the owners. I spotted Jamesport Bait & Tackle driving around one day. Stopped in the next day and got great advice from the guy helping me. Prices are pretty standard but honestly any markup is worth that chat you can have with the old salts working there. Will definitely be a regular.”

“I go here every time me and my family visit the Hamptons. There are so many little gems that you can find here. No other store can replicate the child-like joy like this absolute palace of nostalgia. My only real problem is that everything here is more expensive than if you bought it anywhere else.”

“This is an excellent locally owned sporting goods store. It is the place particularly for food wear and yet there is so much more. Items are quickly ordered when needed saving lots of time and gas by not going into Riverhead. Friendly and helpful staff. I believe in supporting our local businesses and the personal service and fair pricing are appreciated. I am very happy with my recent purchase of pickleball paddle, court shoes and balls.”

“Fantastic scuba diving spot in Long Island, probably the best in New York state. I only just got scuba certified about a year ago and I wanted to do a local dive close to NYC. Not too many options in the five boroughs, but these guys really helped out. Very friendly service, they make sure you practiced a little before you go into the water with their own private pool and they double check to make sure your gear is all set. I dove at the Hampton Springs spot and it was really fun. Though the visibility is a little low underwater, it is a great place to practice and you can still see some stuff below the surface. If you just started scuba diving like me, then definitely come here to refresh yourself or learn firsthand!”

“Phenomenal family owned business! The young man that helped me was extremely polite and while they didn’t have my show size he quickly found a similar shoe that was even better in my size and brought it out. I didn’t even have to ask. Super helpful!!!”

“Ed and Greg are the absolute best. I've been going to Ed Archer for years and am never disappointed. The timeless mens styles and tailoring make Ed untouchable by any other men's clothing store. Simply the best.”

“Best spot for all your surf & summer needs. They have surf wax and my favorite brand of workout clothes, Alo. Also very impressed with the upstairs. Lots of selections for the evening and the daylight hours. Thanks!”
