“Former People's customer here. Delayed getting to M&T to finalize my account transfer. This branch has received poor reviews, but I would argue that customers should give them another chance. I had a lot to finalize this morning. I came across the same friendly customer service I received at the People's Bank branch in Mamaroneck on Boston Post Road. That's probably because the staff is mostly the same.Trenton (banker), Stacey and Christina (tellers) were all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They were transferred to this location before it was finished, so they had to work around a lot of obstacles. Then there were the issues of having to learn new documentation, new computer systems and new customer procedures. All in all, I was quite satisfied with what they've been able to accomplish on such short notice.I was worried when I'd read some reviews. Thought I might have to transfer accounts. After this morning's experience, I'll be staying.”
