Mikuna Peruvian Takeout
263 S Central Ave, HartsdaleSo my brother has been raving to me about Mikuna for some time.Being my mother doesn't live to far from there when he visits him and my sister in law take her there.
Today had to visit Mom so wanted to get her out for lunch. Low and behold she wanted Mikuna for lunch!
If my mother who is a great cook asks to go to a place more than once, then you know you are in for a great meal!
What can't you say about Mikuna! The food is fresh and delicious, simply to die for!!
We had half a rotisserie chicken with Yuka fries and black beans. Chicken well seasoned, not over salted and the black beans and yuka sides we chose were amazing.
So we also ordered their lomo saltado with chafra (Peruvian fried rice) and it came with fries plus the meat was tender and cooked in red onions, tomatoes and peppers!!! Out of this world.
Ordered the extra meal so I knew Mom had left overs!
The staff especially Presilla were super courteous, friendly and can't say enough great things!!!
The price is really good and a healthy portion of food.
