“We recently ordered custom trophy bats from Where It All Began Bat Company in Cooperstown for our players who attended the CASV tournament. The entire experience was outstanding—professional, organized, and smooth from start to finish. The bats turned out absolutely amazing, and the players were thrilled when we presented them in front of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Couldn’t be happier with the quality and service—highly recommend!”
“When you're in the area either visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame or not this shop is definitely worth stopping in to shop for cards as this shop has a wide variety of cards from Baseball, Football, Basketball, Soccer and so much more including supplies and autographed baseballs. The employees leave you looking for what you want.”
“Wide variety of sports items from multiple sports to caps to jerseys and a lot in between. If you're in the area visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame this is worth a drop in to check out what they have. They also have an area specifically for Yankees items ONLY.”
“Bought a hat here that I couldn't find anywhere and was sold out online. I love it ! They have an amazing selection and super fair prices. I would definitely visit again for new gear/memorabilia.”
“This shop is definitely for the experienced and serious collector! Great stuff, but very expensive (I would say accurately priced….just very high end items) I loved this store! Even if u don’t purchase, to look at the collectibles they have is really neat.”
“DO NOT MISS THE TOUR OF THEIR FACTORY!! Very small, quaint place with very friendly staff that will show you every step of the process. Great quality bats for decoration or game use. Very reasonable prices and shipping costs.”

“If you’re visiting Cooperstown, a stop at the Cooperstown Bat Company Factory is an absolute must! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff who clearly take pride in their craft. They took the time to answer our questions, explain the bat-making process, and share the history behind their products, making the experience both educational and enjoyable.
Watching the craftsmanship firsthand was fascinating, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for the skill and attention to detail that goes into every bat they produce. Everyone we interacted with was patient, personable, and genuinely excited to share their passion with visitors.
Whether you’re a baseball fan or simply looking for a unique experience while in Cooperstown, this is a place you shouldn’t miss. We left with great memories, a deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship, and a desire to come back on our next visit. Highly recommend!”
