“I was very skeptical about this place because of the reviews, but I gave them a shot. I was very happy with the staff and the service I received. I was able to make an appointment for the same day and unlike the place around the corner they didn’t require a fee in order for me to make an appointment. I definitely had a great experience, I would definitely use them again and refer friends and family. Pricing was also good”
“I’m so glad I found Head to Tail Animal Hospital. I moved to the Brookhaven area about six years ago and continued traveling 30 minutes to my old veterinarian because I couldn’t find a place I truly trusted—or a doctor who made me feel comfortable. That changed with my very first visit to Dr. Cohen.
I never feel rushed, pressured, or dismissed. Dr. Cohen is incredibly genuine, and her entire staff is consistently pleasant and welcoming. I’ve since transferred all of my pets to their care.
What stands out most is that they listen to understand, not just to respond. At other veterinary offices, I often felt pushed into unnecessary tests or procedures, and when I explained that something wasn’t financially feasible, I felt dismissed. That has never happened here. Instead, we take things one step at a time to figure out what’s going on and determine the best way to move forward.

“I decided to try this Vet it is close to home and was highly recommended. I was surprised I was able to get a appt. within 24 hours. I have to say this Vet office was spotless, so clean and updated. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We met with Dr. Haley Knopf.. She explained the problem Daisy was having gave her a shot and some meds to put on her paw. We had a follow up appt. and all went well. Our furry friends are like our children and we only want the best for them. I highly recommend Commack Vet. Center on Motor Parkway in Commack.
Had another visit to the Vet and once again very happy with the care. Daisy had a ear infection and she is a very good girl well behaved and they were able to clean her ears and apply a solution. The staff is so good and they take the time to talk to your pet. Can't say enough about this Vet.”

“I took my Pitbull to Twins Vet for the first time this week. This vet was recommended by my coworker. They were amazing! From the receptionist to the vet assistant to the vet. The vet was very thorough, he answered all my questions, he didn’t seem like he was in a rush, he was so great and loving with my dog. Everyone had great attitudes, very friendly, the office was very clean and they treated my dog as loving as I do. I would 100% be staying with them. They were also very affordable.”

“Been going to Dr Heller for over 15 years since he saved my Scottie and gave us two and a half more years with him when my then regular vet offered no options for his oral tumor. He's been to our home to help put our dog down when the time came. He treated my Finny through his whole wonderful life. I have recommended him to many of my friends. Next week I will be bringing our new rescue Nessie to him and wouldn't go anywhere else.”
“We thought our Labrador Retriever swallowed an engagement ring. She has a habit of eating things she shouldn’t and East End is always there for us. They were calm and professional (and calmed us down, too.) We found the ring later after the vet assured us it wasn’t inside our dog. The cat had swatted it off the sink counter and it was hidden inside a bag! We appreciate everyone at East End.”

“Dr. Cronin is incredibly caring, kind and humane with you and your fur babies. She's honest, transparent and explains everything to you so that you make an informed decision. She doesn't manipulate you into getting unnecessary things that won't help your vet reach a diagnosis. And if what is needed is something out of her expertise, she will provide a referral to a trusted expert. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Dr. Cronin and her friendly staff. Because it's a small practice, don't wait until the last minute to make an appointment. However, if you need to be seen same day, call and many times they will do their best to accommodate you. This is a great and loving practice.”
“I own a Shiba Inu. That should say enough. But, he also has some disabilities after suffering a few seizures. I have been using North Shore Animal Center for daycare and intend to use them for boarding soon as my family goes on vacation. Normally my family members would care for him and that can sometimes be challenging. It is very hard to find service for dogs that need medication daily and that aren’t mixed with the other dogs. As I toured the center, I felt very calm with Sarah. She listened and attended to all of my concerns. All of the dogs on site looked very happy as well . Whenever I drop off and pick up my dog, he is always smiling. It is a huge relief to find extra support.”

“They usually have appointments relatively quickly and they arrange it so when you arrive the waiting room is not full of animals, which is good when you have a dog that is nervous around other dogs. They seem to really care for the animals which is something g that doesn’t happen everywhere.”

Edit: I can’t say enough good things about this place every single doctor, vet tech and office ladies are amazing. They were so helpful through out my dogs surgery and recovery. Candy is now back home and doing great thanks to everyone here
Last edit: my puppy girl passed away on Friday. I want to thank dr perfetto and the rest of the staff for showing us so much compassion and care for my baby girl. It was the hardest day of my life and I’m so thankful that they made the process hurt a little less. Thank you”

The staff was welcoming, patient, and clearly cared about making the visit as stress-free as possible for both pets and owners. We were immediately greeted by vet tech, Christina. She made us feel comfortable and answered all our questions with kindness and professionalism. Afterwards, the veterinarian came in and took the time to thoroughly examine our cat, explained everything clearly, and answered all of my questions without rushing.
