“The one and only DG I can find within a 30 miles radius that is actually clean, stocked, and not falling apart. It makes me feel welcome and cared for as a customer, whereas other stores feel eery and uncared for. The staff here are all unique yet kind and helpful. Some people like to say the manager is rude, but in all my experiences visiting the store, Summer is kind and one hell of a worker. The only time I see her being “rude” is when a customer deliberately chooses to not listen or use competence. Honestly my only issue with this store is that they are almost always out of the citrus vitamin waters, maybe they should have more delivered.”
“Went in tonight for a late night snack and was met by the wonderful lady working the self checkout (i didn't catch her name unfortunately) she told us about the tops card and helped with getting us some savings. Shes a wonderful lady and ive never left without a smile on my face due to her and this amazing store. P.s please give this angel a raise!”
“We are proud to have Wester's in our community! Their chicken wings are great and the garbage plates are wonderful! We recently ordered food on a Wedneday evening around 5pm and had about a 45 min wait. When we drove up to pick up the food at the promised time, it was ready in less than 5 min. We've never had a bad experience with their food. The store also carries some locally produced items which is cool!”

“Usually have a great experience here. Had to add cash on a card and the cashier was new and hadn't been taught how to do it and he was the only person in the store. Definitely a security risk, as well as poor customer service. Especially when they're open til 10pm. Also a customer came in without a mask and cashier was concerned about confronting him, as he had no manager to back him up.”

“With limited stores in the town of Avon, the dollar General is a one stop shop fo so many things. Some groceries essentials( milk, bread and eggs) cleaning supplies and so many other random items at a great price. A few racks at an even higher discount 70% off, lots of near expired items or discontinued products. I found a few nice deals on snacks and other quick grab and go options. Lots of seasonal items near the entrance.”
