“Not sure how it happened but woke up and saw a crack in my windshield. Used my insurance to make a glass claim and had a choice of appointments within a few days. I had to wait a bit longer due to some other things not related. Also insurance didn't give me the option of a mobile appointment. I didn't try calling or anything but if I need this again. I'd try that. This location is in a high traffic area. There is a star bucks and Tim Horton across the street as well as other spots to eat if you're waiting. My windshield replacement was covered fully by insurance. I did pay for new wipers and a rain treatment though. The work was done within a few hours. I did do a check of the work before cashing out. Didn't notice any issues. They also restuck all my window stickers and EZ-Pass transponder. I did not request OEM glass but haven't noticed any issues driving after picking it up. The work is warrantied. So if there are issues, I won't hesitate to have that handled.”

“My car had a crack that went about a third way across the windshield. Due to the size, I had to get it replaced which I brought here. I will admit that I did not choose this location but was informed by Safelite as well as my insurance. I arrived at 8:00 a.m. and was greeted by an employee, apologies as I do not recall their name. I dropped my car off and a few hours later ( about 2 and 1/2 hours later ) I received a call that my car was ready. All I have to do was sign for insurance and was given my keys. Sorry I don't have much details otherwise but overall the handoff and pick up was effortless and done with ease.”

Original, 6/2024Very impressed with Gerber. My car was hit and run, while parked, for the third time in 18 months, so for it to happen again really got me down. I took my insurance recommendation to go to Gerber. The staff was very attentive and nice. I felt like they went above and beyond and treated me as family. They also called me twice per week for updates on my car which I thought was a great touch. Another plus, I had rental coverage and there is an enterprise a few blocks away. They had a close relationship with Gerber, they picked me up and then told me I could leave the car in the Gerber lot when my car was ready. Between Enterprise down the road and Gerber, I was very pleasantly surprised and uplifting given the challenging circumstances.”
