Unfortunately, this Bob Johnson did the old bait and switch on us. I found a van I was interested in their "inventory" in Avon, the represented I spoke to stated they would have the car shipped to Henrietta in time for the appointment they insisted I set up. When my husband and I arrived, the van was not there and they couldn't even find it in their inventory log. It was a mystery. We wasted about an hour of our day waiting for the sales manager to call around to find the van, no luck. The sales person offered to send us a gift card for our gas and time since it was such a debacle. The gift card never arrived and now I get spam emails from that specific sales person each week. Overall a terrible experience and I would never go back or recommend this dealership as a whole.

As expected can you find a better group of pros coming together to get automotive work done! And I'm from Florida don't worry I'll wait Bob Johnson gets ya right but just my opinion ijs!!!?

Courtney behind the desk and the service manager assisting me were so kind when I came in with a screw in my tire. I’m from out of state, never been to Rochester before, I’m just here to help out with work. Their service station was the first one off the highway and I’m so glad I stopped. I’m only going to be in New York for a short time, but if I have any more car mishaps, I will definitely go to them.

Liz and Heather in the body shop are AMAZING!! They both went way above and beyond to ensure my truck was taken it’s best care of. They were patient, helpful and most of all knew what was going on!! What an incredible duo.THANK YOU!!

Excellent service. The service center staff was welcoming and efficient. They completed my vehicle service within the time-frame proposed and provided a detailed recap of the services provided along with the associated costs. Their spacious and comfortable lounge also gave me the opportunity to work on my laptop while I waited for my vehicle. Great experience!

Courtney was outstanding in helping me with my extended warranty and explaining the ins and outs. Although i only had a diagnostic done on my car everything went awesome and will come back for other services when necessary.

Dropped my ol' Saturn off to have a squeaking sound checked out. My usual mechanic replaced the wheel bearing but the sound came back after a day, so I wanted to try elsewhere. This place told me the sound was coming from my steering wheel cover... Well! It was actually the rack and pinion, but I guess they don't check that. Maybe they're not used to electric power steering or they just didn't care because I'm a girl and they thought I was stupid. But the next place I tried found the problem. So thanks for nothing.

I was honestly not treated with respect, I had no eye contact, I was left to wait without any explanation, knowing that I had just spent $800 at your dealership (after just spending another large amount of money on similar issue — hmmm, interesting that once vehicle is brought in for service something else needs to be serviced in very short time period). I did not address these concerns, paid my bill and was greeted with a summary thank you at the end, but nothing of any value or warmth. I walked to my car and found that the paper tag and paper foot protector had been left in the car which is just laziness. I then cranked the car and found that one of the tires was at 26 psi. That was front and center on the screen and could not be missed. The fact that they had just completed a multipoint point inspection on the car including tire pressures made me think that they had not checked anything! I was extremely disappointed and went back in to address my concerns. Do not recommend servicing vehicle here. Once Bob Johnson bought out Patrick GMC, service has gone downhill. At least with Patrick GMC you were treated with respect and as a valued customer. Those days are long gone at this location.

My wife and I have purchased a few car's from Bob Johnson Buick/GMC over the years and we always get great service and sales...When service is needed they're very competent and helpful, not cheap but honest...Our salesman Gary Johnson has helped us through the difficult task of purchasing a new car with ease...His knowledge and friendly nature make the transaction very comfortable...The inventory is up again and we're in the planning phase of a possible future purchase and Bob Johnson will be our dealer of choice once more...Today I had a NYS inspection and tire rotation and all is well with our car...Give them a try and see the difference Bob Johnson Buick/GMC provides.

Gary Johnson did a fine job with our deal. He was professional, courteous and efficient. What questions we asked he usually answered, or immediately got an answer. I would be glad to work with him again in the future should the occasion arise.I have used the Employee Discount in the past, however due to several family members already having used up the allotment, I had to go the Legacy route and everything went smoothly. Thanks for providing top notch service.

I brought my GMC Sierra to this service center for an airbag recall and inspection. It was an absolute disaster from start to finish.Firstly, when they returned my truck, I was shocked to see it had been damaged. It was clear that they had mishandled it and didn't take proper care. On top of that, they left a mess behind, showing a complete lack of professionalism and attention to detail.To make matters worse, I paid for services that they didn't perform. When I asked service advisor Jeffrey Fernandez for a refund, he flat-out refused. It's infuriating and shows their complete disregard for customer satisfaction.While waiting in the lobby during the repair and inspection, a technician came out and informed me that my inspection would fail because of tint on the front window. They offered to remove it for an outrageous price of $180, claiming that removing all the glue would take a while. After waiting for hours, I was fed up and just wanted to get it done, so I reluctantly agreed, but specifically told them not to touch the side windows as they were 90%, NYS allows up to 70%. Can you guess what happened? They not only failed to fix the airbag light issue, but they also completely removed all of my 3M ceramic 90% legal tint. It was a complete waste of time and money.But wait, there's more! When I went back inside to address the issues, I found out that everyone had left for lunch and wouldn't be back for an hour. I wasn't about to wait any longer.When I finally got home, I noticed that the technician who worked on my airbag recall had used a flathead screwdriver to remove the panel, causing damage. And to top it off, there was glue from the tint removal left on the windows and balls of scraped-off glue scattered all over the interior. The tint was nearly $500 installed. It's absolutely ridiculous that I paid $180 for tint and glue removal, only to end up with such a horrible experience.In conclusion, I strongly advise against bringing your vehicle to this place. Their incompetence, lack of professionalism, and refusal to provide refunds make them completely unreliable. I wouldn't even trust them to put air in my tires. Save yourself the trouble and find a more trustworthy service center that actually cares about their customers and can get the job done right.*EDIT 1 star to 3 starAfter posting my initial review, I received a call from manager Tim Gross within 12 hours. He promptly addressed the situation by issuing a full refund, an employee reprimanded, and offering to replace my damaged interior panel. Additionally, he went the extra mile by offering to detail my truck. I declined the service having sold my truck a week before.As a result of the manager's swift response and efforts to make amends, I have upgraded my rating from 1 star to 3 stars as I had to post this review to incite a response.While the incident was regrettable, I appreciate the manager's proactive approach and hope this reflects their usual level of service.

I have to say this has been a pretty bad dealership to work with. I’ve always used Bob Johnson, and this has definitely been the worst experience. The car I booked in to see online (AND confirmed via email) was already sold when I arrived the same day. They had the same make/model a year newer and a few grand more, so I ended up going with that even though it felt scammy on their part, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. It had super obvious electronics issues right away that I can’t believe weren’t addressed - even if it is used. I was told that with the extra cost dealership warranty I bought I would have a loner vehicle when I brought it to them for in-warranty repairs, but apparently they “don’t have any vehicles available”, so I’m on my own. Just a bad experience all around. I’d go somewhere else and avoid these guys if you can! Giving two stars because the sales process was smooth and efficient & they tossed in floor mats for me.

The service team diagnosed and repaired the issue as well as took care of 2 recalls in a timely manner.I was very impressed with their service team, especially Brian LePore, who offered to drive me to the Enterprise car rental when my ride didn’t show.

Service agent Courtney was rude and I don’t think all the services I was charged for were done. Oil change, multipoint maintenance check and tire rotation has never been done in 30 minutes. Tech didn’t use a paper mat and there’s greasy boot prints on my floor mat
