This store, resembling a Costco for Indian products, supplies us with every spice imaginable—and a few yet to be imagined. We consider natural food an unnatural way of eating. Is it any wonder Gandhi called Western civilization “an interesting idea”?
The store’s automated preparation of its variegated chapati varieties is its crown jewel.
Incidentally, there is even an aisle devoted to products for religious festivities at home, including decorations for the myriad gods and goddesses. I suspect they ought to stock garlands for chapati makers as well—the new idols of the Indian middle class.”

“Living in Massachusetts hasn’t stopped my family from making a trip to New York every 2–3 months, and Apna Bazaar in Hicksville is always at the top of our list. We come to enjoy great Indian food and stock up on groceries, and this location is absolutely worth the drive. The prices are very reasonable—easily 30–40% cheaper not only compared to stores in MA, but even compared to other local stores in Hicksville. The huge inventory, quality products, and excellent customer service make shopping here a great experience every time. We’re able to buy enough groceries to last a couple of months, which makes the 4-hour drive totally worthwhile. Highly recommend this Apna Bazaar location for affordable, high-quality Indian groceries.”

2) Get the left turning lane to make a SHARP LEFT onto Cantiague Rock Rd.

4) Get in the right lane to SWING A WIDE RIGHT turn (careful w/the pole).
5) Get in the middle lane to turn into the property. Park along the fence on the right & walk in to CHECK-IN.
If your picking up is for GOURMET BOUTIQUE you'll make a u-turn in the back lot to set up for a blind-back. I showed up 4hrs early & got out within 2 hrs.”

“Great service! Quick unloading. Very tight parking for 53 foot trailers with sleepers. Suggestion bellow is for 53 foot trailers. If you are coming from the North, don’t enter the driveway. Before getting to address, turn left on Hazel street, turn right S oyster bay road, turn right onto S Broadway and turn left immediately to enter the driveway. If you already passed hazel st, then you will need to do a u-turn after the address and come back.”

“Their deli department is the BEST! ANYTHING that I have purchased there has been like a taste of home! The couple that makes their dishes and items deserve an acknowledgment! And the people behind the counter are the nicest! Reminds me of growing up here the the deli that use to be across the street. “ Ole’ time family like connection “! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE their quiche! When they don’t have it I order them! ANYTIME you ask for help from ANYONE I have asked they are always willing and friendly!! And ( I apologize for my memory) but the women at the front is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, so nice and helpful when needed! The kids at the cash registers are always very nice as well! Love this store !”

“One of the only Filipino markets on the Island, but yet prices are reasonable. Notably, they have a number of items you simply won't find at nearby hmart or the Chinese supermarkets in the area. Hot bbq and prepared food are decent. Customer service excellent.
Only problem is lack of parking - few spots available on the street in front of the place. Still, turnover is quick so you will not wait long for a spot.
Pro tip: I am originally from Jersey City and this place is the only market in the area I've seen that sources their pastries from Philippine Bread House in JC. Try the ensaymada.”
