“We stayed for one evening to take my 3 year old to the Discovery Museum nearby. The staff, Alyson and Darryle specifically, went above and beyond to make our very short stay as comfortable as possible. Their kindness and hospitality really shined.”
“If you are going to the Catskills or heading up the Thruway this is the best. Very cordial check-in, pleasant clean rooms, breakfast at 6am, Starbucks 4 minutes away and a price point that is The best in the area. Either local places had issues with cleanliness, mold, water. This was really nice. Microwave mini fridge TV to Wi-Fi coffee in the room.”
“We rented out the back patio for a 50th anniversary celebration. It was a big group and the service was excellent. The food was delicious. Jayme and Aaron, the innkeepers, were very accommodating. We were able to decorate, bring in flowers, and rearrange the space to our liking. The staff also took care of all the clean up when we were done. We had a lovely time.”

“my father and i stay at Quality Inn Hyde Park during May for fishing season, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet after long days out fishing. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always making sure we had everything we needed. The location was convenient and made it easy to get to the water and nearby spots around town. Breakfast was a nice bonus each morning before heading out. We’ll definitely be staying here again next fishing season. Highly recommend! 14 years and never a bad stay! special thank you to the front desk staff. see you all in 2027!”

“One of the best hotels in the area, the rooms were great, breakfast was one of the better breakfast's I have had at a hotel, and the service from the employees was top tier. Everyone was super nice, helpful, and pleasant to speak with. Especially George at the front desk, he was very professional, kind, and made our experience so smooth and great. We will definitely be returning to this hotel!”

I don't know what all the negative reviews are about because I never once experienced a problem or any rude employees. My room was always clean and if I needed something they were helpful. “Great size room. The cleaning folks came in while we were out for the day and took our bath mat, soap and shampoo and didn't replace it. Front desk staff was terrific. The Internet went out on the last day and they couldn't print me a receipt. They said they would email it to me but never did. Our room had a lovely view of Wappinger Creek.”
