I want to give a huge thank you to Julia, the manager at Zumiez in the Poughkeepsie Galleria, and her amazing team, Sydney and Ant. My son and I had one of the best shopping experiences we’ve ever had, and it was entirely because of this outstanding staff.
From the moment we walked in, Julia and her team were warm, cheerful, and extremely hospitable. They were knowledgeable about current sales and deals, helped us pull the right sizes for him, and even offered great style recommendations that he ended up loving. What stood out the most was how naturally they worked together, when Julia stepped away to assist another customer, Sydney and Ant jumped right in without being asked, making sure the experience continued seamlessly.
Every team member contributed, making the entire visit fun, memorable, and effortless. Their positive energy and professionalism created an atmosphere that felt genuinely inviting.

“I absolutely love ILY!!! Items are reasonably priced and fits me right. Most importantly is my favorite sales associate Mina, for me!!!! I actually think she's a manager I'm not sure but if she's not she should be cuz she's amazing!!!! She's always helping and honest about her opinions of how the clothes look on you. She hasn't let me down yet. She's so good at her job that my boyfriend who hates going to the mall actually likes taking me there to buy jeans that fit perfectly and look good on me... It's one of the only reasons I still go into the mall.”
“Lovely little vintage store in downtown New Paltz, NY! I was lucky enough to come across Rock Candy Vintage on a day trip to this cute little town with my boyfriend, and I was impressed with the limited but highly curated selection! They carry mostly women's clothing from the 60's-80's, and have a lovely range of stonewashed denim jackets that would make Madonna proud to cute and quirky minidresses that would look at home on the Mary Tyler Moore Show (okay, I sound old!) Admittedly, Rock Candy Vintage isn't the Goodwill or Savers, and you'll be paying quite a bit for the garments sold here. However, the quality is very good, especially for the items from the 60's and 70's, considering how old the pieces are. Feel free to splurge - it's super worth it, especially when you think about what other vintage stores that sell clothing from the same eras are like, quality wise. If you're ballin' on a budget, check out the affordable selection of unique enamel pins, iron on patches, and feminist-friendly tote bags, all which come in at less that $20, but are equally as fabulous as their pricier cousins across the racks. I can't wait to come back for a dress when I have more money! I guess I'll have to settle for coveting the enamel pin with the TV Dinner on it (I told you, I'm old!) for now!”

I never leave without some wonderful shirt, sweater or even a gift for my husband. Great place to find that special something. Love it- and love the garage! They are starting to come out with the spring fashion items. Snd of course it s depends on your style. It's just fun to go shopping. Very therapeutic”

That has changed. Sephora is the focal point of the store - taking up a considerable portion of the store.
The jewelry department is now a couple of racks with costume jewelry.
The selection over-all is greatly diminished.”
