Went for my first eye exam in years and was pleasantly impressed with the service and results from the secretary and the Doctor. She explained everything and would recommend Costco Holbrook to everyone.

I've had nothing but good experiences at the Costco Vision Center, Holbrook, NY. Both the optician, Dr. Minkoff, and all the staff at the center were gracious, smart, and helpful.

Could not understand those <= 3-star reviews -- Costco Optical Department at Holbrook is one of the best in Long Island in my 20years+ glasses purchase experience. Manager Nancy is the best in fitting all sorts of glasses/frames including progressive glasses. Had fairly bad experience at the Nesconset store -- none of the staff/manager there are trained well to fit/recommend frames for my family (of four). If you experience discomfort with your glasses/frames after repeated adjustments elsewhere, try Nancy at Holbrook to see the difference.

The only way I can reach Costco to find out if they had a specific product was through the optical department. The lady attempted to help me, but was unfortunately unable to find the product. I was trying to locate. She did pass me to a representative that could look at my product, which, as it turns out, they no longer Carry. Sucks for me. They no longer carry it, but thank you Optical for trying to help me and passing me along when they couldn’t.

I got an appointment for Dr Horowitz for the following day. I had never seen her but she was outstanding! She gave me a thorough exam and was very knowledgeable. I highly recommended her if you need a vision exam!

If ZERO was an option that would be my rating. I had an issue with my recent order and no one from the optical dept picked up a phone for 2 days. The email address is not working properly. Emails bounce back. The main number finally connected me to Jen who was extremely snarky and condescending after I waited two days to speak to someone. I HIGHLY recommend you go anywhere else than to the Holbrook Optical Dept.

I tell the lady at customer service I'm waiting for my bf to walk in with the ink we have to return. Okay. No doubt.I park myself to the side. He shows up and she walks away from the desk. Now there's a lady behind us. No urgency to come back. She's not far from the desk but she just had to waddle over to her friends at the door to say whatever. The other lady who was busy with a client finishes up & calls us next. 2 seconds she's done. The neglectful lady lets out a miserable "can I help you" to the next woman on line. Thank g d we didn't get helped by her. We do our shopping. Get to self check out. There's 8 items. We pay & make our way to leave. Everyone at the front is busy with a customer so we make our way passed them. One of the ladies who was double teaming a customer with her work Bestie grabs us and says "you have to check out! I was helping with-" I don't care lady just check the receipt. Excuses only sound believable to the people making them. She marks the receipt gives it to my bf and then continues to rescan the cart. I pause and look at her. She's still counting. She says "why are you looking at me like that" so I just walk away bc we already have the receipt. This lady has the audacity to continue to try and provoke me while I'm leaving "WHY ARE YOU LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT?" Clearly loud enough for me to still hear her. So I turn around and I yell "KEEP COUNTING." & walk out. What in the world did that lady think she was going to do? She's neglectful of her position & dying to get back to her little convo with her boyfriend at the door. She's all huffed and puffed because I LOOKED at her while she was still counting. Maron. I get it. I'm young and tattoo'd. I MUST be stealing & ready for a fight. This fake LI Mob wife needs to hold off on the Costco cakes if she really thinks she's going to "do something". Read it and read it again Jane Doe. There's a reason you're self loathing & pushing that shit onto other people. I'll be in Riverhead. This location has always been trash. Can't even turn into the damn place off the highway without a written will. Thursday Morning 7/13 -- 10:22am - 230 202 9 702 - Watch your employee at the door disrespect clients simply because they're disgruntled.

Poor customer service, only fair one is the African American man. The women are not ready to help you select a frame, ignores you and the skinny one is racist. The selection is narrow and outdated. Costco used to have good brands and extensive selection not anymore. The major thing is the lackluster attitude to work, turn lights off at 5:40pm because they want to leave! Hours was supposed to be till 6pm.

I've been shopping here for years but might change that after my recent visit. I went to pay for my items and something rang up incorrectly. I politely asked the staff member to correct it and after checking they said it had been labeled incorrectly and they wouldn't honor the labeled price and gave me an attitude.

Left my credit card at home and the girls at the customer service desk were so helpful in showing me how to shop by adding the card to my app, so I wouldn't physically need it. Store was clean and organized. I always love going there. They have it all!

This one star rating is not for this particular store but it IS for Costco as a corporation. Sam's Club and BJ's allow you to see the in-store prices online. Costco does not. I'm not driving an hour round-trip only to find out that the same item was cheaper at one of their competitors. I'm sure this is to prevent people from comparing prices ahead of time, but as a consumer, that's exactly what I do. Definitely won't renew my membership.

AMAZING! I found my amazing adult diapers extra care!! I was so happy and my kids got free pizza there too! Costco is my to go place for groceries I found all my candles here and im so happy with my new candles and kitchen equipment! so happy!

Love Costco. Clean, organized, consistent staff and low turnover. The parking lot is more like a Parkway, so be careful not to get mowed down. Love the produce cooler- tons of fruits and veggies at reasonable prices. Live on their hummus, avocados, and egg whites with pesto sauce! Hard not to leave without a vanilla cup to share. I pay to have the Executive membership and get % back on my purchases. My % this year scored me enough to buy a new tv but cashing in my % certificate!
