βGreat hardware store when you don't wanna deal with the bigger chain places. This is also my Goto for propane refilling because they actually fill your tank to its capacity not like others. Always a friendly crew working and never a wait.β
βThe Sayville Brinkmann store is the absolute best! They are so helpful, the store is clean and beautiful. They carry everything you need! I brought in a lamp today that I was having an issue with. Gabe offered to take a look, and within 15 minutes I had my lamp fixed and even better than it was before. A few weeks back i needed glass replaced on a painting, and they replaced that for a reasonable price as well. Thank you Gabe and Sayville Brinkmann for being the best hardware store around!β
βI needed a Corbett to drill a hole through a foundation. The two gentlemen that were at the counter was very helpful and I walked out shortly after being assisted with my purchase. Great staff!β

βThe shopping experience here is great; far better than the big box stores. Not only are you greeted personally when you come in but for a small store they have an amazing inventory. Not only are they fully stocked with inventory but if you have problem to fix and have not been able to figure out a solution the owners often can make a suggestion that enables you to fix the issue. Great place to frequent and support. John Bβ

They are hard working, responsive and reliable team. I got loan mower and weed trimmer there. Very happy with my purchase.β
βThis store is very easy to navigate and find exactly what you need on your own. No problem finding the items fast. If not, there is an employee available to ask for assistance. Like that the aisles are small and labeled above with the items that it contains. Much easier to find items here than in a much bigger store.β
βThere couldn't be a nicer more professional more knowledgeable rental location in the world. If you go anywhere else you're doing yourself a disservice.β
βIts Harbor Freight. Dirt cheap prices for disposible Chinese tools. Chaotic service run by βDee-da-deeβ employees, but what else is new. If there is more then a few people in the store plan on waiting in a long long to check out. Low end knick knacks are great here.
Most equipment is fairly decent and will last a while, basic non-powered items can be as good as bigbox store stuff . Anything powered are usually throw aways.

βWhile this has been my favorite place for years today Charlie really came to my rescue. They always greet every customer and when Charlie asked how I was I said I was cranky because we were supposed to have all we needed to hook up water/ice on new fridge but after getting soaked and the connector was wrong off to Ace I went! Charlie smiled and said letβs take a look and found what I needed! He saved the day!β
βNow my second experience here and both times I was in a jam with needing to get some hoses to get back up and running for my business. Without fail they were able to get it done and get me working again, all within a half hour. If you need any hose repairs for your business or personal use I would definitely come to them!!β
βSuch a pleasure to go there. As soon I walked in the service was amazing, polite and professional. I was even offered a cup of coffee while my paint was being mixed.β

They seem to have everything you need for most structural projects. Fast service. Seems to be the place for the locals... As in area specific for the contractor...β

βThere is something to be said for local shops. I bought the wrong paint and James and Vicky were so accommodating and friendly and helped me out in the return of a custom paint. While we were doing the return and processing the new paint, we shot the breeze and got to know each other. Ill go here first for any home needs I have for the next 20 years. People make a company. And all customers want these days is a sense of community and nice people to talk to. A nice chat and friendly smiles reminded me of why I love living here. Give these two a nice Christmas bonus - they earned a customer for life for your business. Honestly.β

βI have been going to Sider Lumber for my windows, doors, lumber, moldings, siding, roofing, hardware...you name it really - for over 30 years. The staff are all very knowledgeable and eager to assist clients. They go out of their way to find solutions and offer advice on the best products for my projects. And most importantly, they are trustworthy. They provide the great service and customer experience you would expect from a small town family business with all the benefits of large scale national company such as a quality showroom, large selection of in stock tools and supplies, extremely competitive pricing and a large selection of the nations top brands for just about all home building materials.β
βI ordered 2 oval matte black closet rods after measuring the distance between the walls myself and when they arrived one was a bit short. (They ask you to measure exact distance between the walls and they'll send the correct length rod) Unfortunately I was off by 1/4" (walls are not plumb) and that meant I got the wrong size rod. I called and they told me they would send another rod whatever length I wanted as long as I paid shipping. I thought that was very fair and the new rod arrived 2 days later and fits perfectly.β
βJenny from the Gardening Section was truly wonderful, she was generous, extremely helpful and enthusiastic! I would go back to this exact Home Depot just to visit Jenny. I really cannot emphasize enough how spectacular she was. She'll always be a part of my heart, she helped me achieve a huge milestone- my first credit card. βWas looking to purchase a certain small parts organizer bin which happened to be up in the overhead by the organizers. Walked the entire store and couldnt find a floor employee until i got over to garden. A nice older gentleman was able to help and led me to Jillian. She was quick to help and get me what i needed. The 5 stars are not for the store but solely on her performance of helping me out.β
βEver since moving to Long Island, I have found myself at Home Depot more times than I would have imagined. It's so great that they're located very close to my home. They have all of the essentials and offer a very affordable price. Generally, the customer service is good, however I have noticed that there is an apparent staff shortage at times. I found myself waiting 20 minutes to get help with my project and had asked the manager multiple times for available team member for assistance. I did ultimately receive the help and I was given a 10% discount for the trouble. Parking is always plentiful and the store is neat and organized. Pretty much has anything for your home needs indoors and outdoors. Shoutout to Krissy for her excellent customer service and providing me with a discount.β
βIt is close to home and the people who work there actually know where things are unlike the big chain stores. They have basically everything you'd need for house projects.β

βI was shopping for a specific BBQ and found they had it for less than everyone else so I went there to buy it. I was skeptical of a catch but the girl behind the counter confirmed the price. She was excellent as well as the manager. They arranged for delivery and it arrived on time and assembled perfectly. This place is out of the way for me but I will be a regular customer from now on.β
