Hornell Animal Hospital
22 Wightman Ave, HornellI had a cat of of 15 years and he was 22( I thought, then my fiancéeinformed me I had been saying he was 22 for 5 years. He had to be put down. I swore I would not have another pet no way no sir no how. I would not have cat . The day I brought my cats ashes home from the finger lakeswas a the day a stray and he was almost identical. White and orange small fang break, we decided he could live outdoors or above our garage. He decided he could run I.doors and live there. he’s even more of a lap cat than my other one.I have been to see this vet once and am calling for another appointment. Happy not to have to travel back to Geneva with cat( and though my pevious Geneva vet was good, in terms of skills BUT not so great with people( after learning there numerous deaths in my . he actually joked “ stay away from me, you must be cursed. ( well thank you very much doc)And even no after two emergency visits to him two to any one open( ithaca and geneseeo, and four bouts of internal bleeding and fluids being administered six times. My ver made me feel guilty for choosing to euthanise. I knew my cat, and I knew he hadn’t eaten in days, he didn’t want company The vet kept telling me how healthy he was, my cat barely ate he had dark profuse amounts of internal bleeding and he was miserable. And no cause was given for this multiple reoccurring condition this soured me on the Geneva vet I was so happy to find dr KochThe animals all seem to love himMy family trained horses and we always had large animal vets and the horses hated vets , our cats, and dogs .Every animal in the place seemed delightedTo be there. That’s a great patient endorsement.?

The Udder Place
133 E Avenue Extension, HornellThis is the best place in town for ice cream. Both for scenic value and for taste/quality/friendliness. It's a bit out of the way but I feel as though that adds to the value, as the only other comparable place in town, the Scoop, is in the middle of town. With busy streets, bustling school kids, and loud traffic. The Udder Place has a nice view and plenty of seating places, with unique flavors in their menu, suitable for everyone's flavor preferences. Their "Flavor Burst" soft serve is something I haven't seen anywhere else before, and I travel somewhat often. If you're looking for quality, uniqueness, and a quiet sunny place to eat the ice cream you order, this is the place you want to go.
