“Had our car break down in Myrtle beach. Ended up leaving our car at a dealership. We needed a ride home. Made a reservation with Enterprise and arranged a ride to the airport. Upon arrival, Enterprise told us the had no cars and didn't know why someone took our reservation and no other rental agency had cars. So we tried a couple to no avail. Finally made it to Avis. The sign said cars available. Made an online reservation. Made it to the counter. I didn't get the employee's name, but she was super helpful and set us up with a one way trip to home. Thank you very much Avis. We never rented with you before, but will now make you our goto agency.”
“I've been helped by RJ, Ian and Steve. All were friendly, professional and went above what was necessary. This location is fair and if you book a small size ahead of time they will upgrade you if they have none available. Thanks to everyone there”
“It wasn't bad and it wasn't great. As a frequent renter I have been reluctant to use Hertz in the past due to bad publicity (computer glitch causing rentals to be reported as stolen). I did decide to give them a chance and this was my 2nd rental this year from them. The first experience was a 5 start experience. I do not have a "favorite" when it comes to car rentals, I book strictly on price/value. My first experience did include a nice upgrade from a full size car to a SUV. I am almost always offered an option of vehicles too. This time I got what ordered and that was a full size car. The only reason I am giving them a 4 star is the car was well used. It was a 2018 Toyota and clearly showed it's age. I would expect that from their budget line but not from Hertz. In my experience, when renting from the "name brands" the vehicles have always been newer. Employee interaction was also brief and average. With that being said, I will use Hertz again.”
“I rent from Enterprise frequently in Binghamton, NY (always great service) I had an emergency and had to use the office at the Elmira Airport. To start the experience was pleasant, as usual. During my trip there were a few hiccups, they were resolved quickly. My review is really to highlight the amount of empathy and service provided by Miss Breanna Ventra, at the airport location!! I cant thank Breanna enough for 1. EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, she was "on it"!!!!! 2. Her foresight and understanding. 3. Her just being an all around decent human being. I can go on and on. But when an emergency arises and you have someone literally make things easier, I call that a blessing. I hope that she will see this and it will serve as a reminder to her that "a little kindness goes a long way!' Thank you again, Breanna for all of you did for me.”

“I had to make an emergency trip to Pennsylvania via the Elmira airport. Dollar was the only rental place that had a vehicle available. I ordered an suv, but when I arrived all they had was a pickup truck. Which was fine for me. I was upgraded at no additional cost. The truck was a newer Toyota Tundra. It was pretty clean for a rental truck. The agents at the counter both at pickup and return were awesome! Super accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and just down right nice. I can’t say enough about them. I did have to call the corporate number to extend my rental, now that’s where I had an issue. I wasn’t in the rental when I called, so I didn’t have the number for the Elmira location. The corporate customer service wouldn’t even give me the Elmira locations number! I won’t go through corporate again, I’ll stick with talking directly to the agents in Elmira. I’d definitely rent here again.”
“Before we even got to the day of our trip, we had excellent customer service from the branch manager, Rachel. She called ahead to let us know that the truck we had requested was recalled and asked about our trip and our family to plan what a good replacement would be. When we landed and went to pick up our car, she had thought out how much space we needed for our luggage, what kind of driving we needed to be able to do, and taken into account our older passengers with a vehicle that would accommodate mobility needs without being so low to the ground that we would feel all the bumps on the rural roads we were heading for. Rachel has a level of proactive, thoughtful customer service that isn't easily taught and is rarely seen. She is exceptional and made us feel so cared for! Thank you so much, Rachel!”
