From the moment we stepped into Scribner's restaurant, we were enchanted by its inviting ambiance - the perfect blend of sophistication and warmth with its low dim lighting. Our dining experience exceeded all expectations; every dish we tried was a culinary delight, but the pork chop stole the show with its succulent flavor and perfect seasoning. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our evening flowed seamlessly. The drinks were expertly crafted and complemented our meal beautifully. Celebrating my birthday here was a decision I won't regret - Scribner's provided the ideal setting for a memorable celebration. We stumbled upon this gem while staying at Ohneka House AirBnB, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Scribner's to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience that combines exquisite food, impeccable service, and a charming ambiance.

The most charming and cozy Catskills getaway. All the employees and guests were so warm and welcoming. Had so much fun at their New Year's Eve party. The mango mezcal drink I had (the Mucho Mango) was amazing. The views of the mountains are beautiful. Very well heated indoors and outdoors by the fire. Beautifully maintained hotel. Can't wait to take a properly long vacation here. Vibes were so good.

Had a great long weekend stay here but probs won’t be back. Beautiful view from the room however everything felt lower budget than I would have expected for the price. Strange smell from the heater/ac. Bedding was comparable to a Hyatt or Residence Inn. Dismissive service from the front desk. The main lobby with the fireplace looks beautiful but all the furniture is pretty uncomfortable so not great for hanging out. Outdoor property was gorg. Love that it’s dog friendly. Restaurant staff was super friendly and helpful too!

Beautiful property tucked away in the Catskills. Perfect for a getaway from NYC, or as a home base to visit the Hudson Valley. Don’t miss out on the cinnamon buns at nearby Fellow cafe!Rooms: Our loft room was large and very clean. The living area was more fashionable than comfortable, so we spent our time enjoying the patio Adirondack chairs instead.Food & drinks: Incredible menu options at the hotel restaurant. We had breakfast there twice during our stay and one amazing dinner that featured fresh ingredients grown on-site at the hotel garden.

Very expensive and not worth the price. It's basically for hipsters who don't know any better and have a ton of extra money. The restaurant is also surprisingly mediocre for such a small menu and portion sizes with such high prices.

Truly incredible experience at Scribner's! My husband and I came for a weekend getaway from the city and could not have asked for a better stay. Accommodations were beautiful, staff was incredibly friendly, and our pup felt very welcome. The food at Prospect was also 10/10! Would definitely recommend visiting!

Overpriced by a long shot, utter trash. $50 for half a BBQ chicken with no sides. Chef that just doesn't get it.

I got very sick right before to my stay and was not able to go. They refused to give me a refund because it was too close to the stay date. I didn't know I was going to be sick any sooner?!? Now I have credits that I'll never use... great...

I surprised my partner with a birthday trip to this wonderful hotel. The staff's exceptional hospitality and assistance throughout our stay truly made the weekend unforgettable. The special touches of a handwritten birthday note & ice cream and candle sent to the room really were above and beyond.A heartfelt thank you to Scribners for creating such a special experience. Also, obsessed with Andrew’s garden tour- what a treasure! Looking forward to returning and bringing our beloved pups along next time!

What a charming inn. We stayed here over a weekend trip to the Catskills and Saratoga and couldn't have been happier. Everything about the place has such character, from the bedroom loft, to the fireplace book collection in the lobby, to the surprise smores on the patio upon arrival. The restaurant is also quite good, both for brunch and dinner, and with amazing views of the mountains. And the people here are unbeatable, the friendliest I can remember of anywhere I've stayed. We will absolutely return next time we're in New York.

My husband and I spent a few days at Scribner's right after our wedding. It was the perfect setting for a "mini moon" -- our room was spacious (and the bed was super comfortable) and we really enjoyed all of the activities we could do on site, whether that was swimming and reading by the pool, having nightly sauna sessions, playing billiards, or getting a fabulous dinner at Prospect. We also enjoyed the nightly bonfires and the complimentary s'mores kits the hotel provided. Additionally, it has great proximity to the cute shops and restaurants in Tannersville (and is not far from Hudson) as well as awesome hikes and other outdoor activities. I wholeheartedly recommend Scribner's the next time you're looking to plan a vacation or getaway weekend to the Catskills!

My second stay, but I don’t think I’ll be back - its lost its touch as a Catskills destination. The food was bland, boring, and overpriced for the lack of quality. The staff was friendly, but coming from hospitality, there’s a clear disconnect. Doesn’t feel cozy and inviting like make other hotels in the area. The rooms are really stripped down and simple, comfy beds but no real vibe in my opinion. It’s a beautiful location so I hope they do a glow up soon because they need it.

Better lets talk about how in this place, they exploit their workers with more than 40 hours a work week, without opportunity to rest during working hours, and how the RH : KATE LALA AND MIA PILLSWORTH do nothing about it when you face them, more if it is about Latino workers, A REAL SHAME!!!!!!!

We have made it a tradition to make Scribner's one of our stops along the way when travelling to the Berkshires or New England Area. It is a very relaxing place with great outdoor space. We particularly enjoy the chance to make s'mores and use the sauna. The garden space is great and always fun for our toddler to look around. Breakfast has always great there, during off season we went once and they had a great visiting chef series going on which we particularly enjoyed. The only reason not giving 5 stars is due to on both occasions we stayed something went wrong with either our restaurant bill (we were charged for someone else's dinner) or our room bill (a discount was not applied despite me asking multiple times that it would be).Food & drinks: Had breakfast on our most recent stay and it was all very delicious. Pancakes had a great twist of having masa in them giving them a beautiful bluish hue. Fruit was perfectly ripe as well.

This review is for the restaurant: Great views 5/5, Good food 4/5, okay service 3/5. Food was good - portions on the smaller side. Service was a bit spotty at times, but I think they might have just been busier than normal this past weekend. Averages out to 4/5!
