This was my first time going to build a bear and creating one. Ethan upon entering greeted us and walked us through the whole process and created an experience that’ll I will forever treasure and replay every time I see my build a bear. Five starts isn’t enough for this place the rest of the staff were awesome as we walked throughout the store. I would come back again to go through the whole experience with Ethan.

The staff were so nice to me. When we came the store was going to close in an hour so we were kind of in a rush but even after closing hours the staff where so nice to me and they weren't kicking me out. I love my new frog family :)

My daughter wanted to go to build a bear after a doctor appointment, so excited. The store was empty, no one in it. 12:30 on a Tuesday afternoon. The lady was rude, had a bad attitude, did not want to help. She did not ask her to stuff it if it was enough, did not smile once, did not do the magic, make a wish, show us where the clothes were. Nothing. Worst experience ever. We have gone to build a bear many times in garden city location and never treated like this. A girl came in after us and got pure magic. Carolyn was terrible. Made a difficult day so much worse

The staff was not very welcoming, which was disappointing. I drove 30 minutes specifically to get my 4-month-old her first bear after seeing it in the city the day before, but the store was closed then. Unfortunately, the inattentiveness and lack of enthusiasm from the staff made me decide to leave without making a purchase. I was honestly surprised by the experience. I ended up going to my local store at Smith Haven Mall instead.
