“Easy to see right off of New York Avenue servicing Huntington Station and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Parking on the Street is available but it fills up fast especially at night and on the weekends. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. Nice staff. We will definitely be going back.”
“Just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Aboff's who helped me earlier this afternoon. After making a mistake with my paint choice the guy with the ponytail (lol) was able to make some adjustments and matched my vision perfectly. I couldn't believe it. All three guys were very helpful and pleasant. They really went out of their way to remedy my problem. Thanks again.”
“Fantastic local business. I had a clogged sink a few months ago and needed a snake to clean it out. I called them as I got out of work and they stayed open almost a half hour past closing so I could get grab it from them. They are always friendly and have anything you can get at a place like Home Depot at a better price.”
“These guys are great. Always have the tools I need and if there is the slight chance they don’t have it, they order and ship to the store or direct me to where I can get it. Outstanding customer service and the personal feel of a mom and pop family store operating under a name brand (Ace) platform. I strongly recommend!”
“My father is a disabled Vietnam Veteran and uses a walker to help him get around. A screw fell out and it was unstable and unsafe for him to use. I took the walker to the hardware store to see if they would be able to help me replace the screw. I was greeted with a happy hello and asked what I needed help with. A lovely employee named Christina took the walker placed it on the counter and installed the screw for me herself for me. I was so grateful that she was able to help us with this situation. We shop here for all our home improvement needs and recommend this store to anyone who wants a friendly…helpful …attentive staff who goes out of their way to make sure you leave with what was needed”
“Great experience at Aboff’s Paints. Bill and Shayne were both extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer questions, give recommendations, and made everything easy from start to finish. Excellent customer service and a very professional team. Highly recommend”
“I can’t say enough good things about this location. Robert, Jonathan, Harrison and there was one more person but I forgot his name, they were all incredibly helpful. I spent about $1000 on paint and visited multiple times, and each time they were friendly and professional. Thank you so much—this is my go-to place for paints.”
“Staff is extremely helpful and friendly! We had to come here quite a few times for paint in our new home and we had a great experience every time. Thank you for your awesome service!”
“I recently visited Aboff’s in Commack to purchase paint for my porch, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Scott helped me out and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The staff as a whole was friendly, welcoming, and made the process easy. Their pricing is very fair, and I felt confident I was getting great value along with excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back for future projects and highly recommend this location!”
“Amazing customer service! I worked with Miguel and he was very kind and helpful throughout the process. We will definitely be purchasing from this store for all our painting needs.”
“Very good customer service experience. Staff was eager to help and knowledgeable. Special thanks to Rigo Hernandez who was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable.”
“I visited the East Northport location after having a less than great experience at another location. I was pleasantly surprised and greeted by the store manager (Courtney) and another representative (I believe his name was Michael) together they had an incredible, professional dynamic and came across as not only good (great) at their jobs but enjoy working together.
Courtney was able and willing to assist me in picking out the best type of paint for my project along with assuring me my bold choices would be rewarded. Oh! She even hooked it up with a great coupon! All in all, a wonderful experience!”
“We went to the Sherwin Williams on Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow /Levittown, NY. Heather and Hans were very helpful and friendly, made everything easy for us. I walk with a cane and Hans carried the box of paints to my car without me even asking. This will be my paint store from now on.”
“Went to the Aboffs in Syosset this morning as I didn’t like the color that I chose once the room was painted!!! The manager J.R. was beyond helpful and made several suggestions on how to correct the problem. Have been going to this location for 20 years and the staff never disappoints. Friendly, helpful and very professional. Thank you J.R.!!”
“Had the best experience with Q earlier today! Looking for colors to match wallpaper for a nursery and he helped narrow down our options and gave valuable input. He was very informative, helpful and kind. I would shop at this location again because of Q. Thank you!”

“I had a wonderful experience at Costello's Ace Hardware of Northport that I wanted to share.
I purchased an item for online pickup which unfortunately had to be cancelled because of a mistake on the Ace Hardware Corporate site mistakenly showing the item in stock. However, the Saturday night crew (I sadly didn't get their names) did everything they could to help me by checking local warehouses, and calling their manager to see if I could purchase the display model. Initially it was a no, but the gentleman willingly and eagerly called his manager AGAIN for me and to my surprise the manager agreed.
Only because they went above and beyond for me by calling again allowed me to purchase a Christmas decoration that is very sentimental to my childhood. I will truly have a special holiday season this year because of the wonderful employees at Costello's Ace Hardware of Northport.”

“Chris and Joe are beyond helpful. Had a difficult paint project and they helped me every step of the way, particularly when it came to matching colors and picking the right material materials. Always a pleasure dealing with both of them”
