I took the walker to the hardware store to see if they would be able to help me replace the screw. I was greeted with a happy hello and asked what I needed help with. I had a wonderful experience working with Cathy while choosing paint and supplies for my basement. She took the time to help me select just the right shade of gray, and she didn’t stop there. She also made sure I had the correct rollers, handles, and other accessories I would need to get the job done properly.
What impressed me most, though, was Cathy herself. Her personality was truly above and beyond. She was knowledgeable, patient, genuinely helpful, and had an infectious smile that made the entire experience enjoyable. You never felt rushed or like you were simply another customer. She made you feel as though helping you get everything right actually mattered to her.
Employees like Cathy are the reason people remember a store and choose to come back.

“Amazing service and a great experience! My designer gave me a very specific custom color request—a 50/50 mix of one color and the shade one level lighter. I was told that Benjamin Moore stores would know how to formulate it, but after visiting two other locations, neither was able to make the mix.
I happened to stop by this location for some other supplies and decided to ask one more time. J.R. Cruz immediately understood what I was looking for and knew exactly how to create the custom color. He made a sample for me on the spot, and it came out perfect—exactly what my designer and I wanted!
I later found out that J.R. is the Store Manager. I really appreciate the time he took to help with this unusual request and his expertise in getting the custom color exactly right.
I’m so glad I stopped by this location. The products may be the same from store to store, but the knowledge and expertise behind the counter can make all the difference. If you want expert help from staff who truly understand paint and color formulation, I highly recommend coming straight Aboff's Paints in Syosset. I’ll definitely be back for future paint projects!”
