“I have been shopping at Value Drugs for 20 plus years, but I recently moved my prescriptions over. I have to say the pharmacists at Value Drugs are a breath of fresh air. I've called many times about different medications when I have had problems getting my insurance company to cover things and every person I've talked to there has been friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and they take time to talk to me in a very human way, personally. I wish I had changed my medications to Value Drugs earlier, but I will now always send them my prescriptions. Maybe the contrast from other chains is because they're still a family-owned chain of small town drug stores. It reminds me of growing up when people actually cared about each other rather than just the corporate bottom line. We need more humanity, especially related to our healthcare. “Pharmacy hours aren't great, they open too late for me to go before work at 9 and they close early by 7/8 every day. But the pharmacists are wonderful and so caring and informative. Hate that you can't get anyone on the phone anymore though. It's all automated.”
