“Very stocked. The 2 workers who talked to me were very friendly. A few Isles were messy but they were stocking shelves so it's understandable. All the floors were clean and I enjoyed walking around.”

“I would estimate that the store has 10,000 plus items that includes all of the essential school supplies, an array of the most needed household products, and a wide range of miscellaneous items that everyone might need at one time or another. Because the store is packed with merchandise from top to bottom, an unusual item may be overlooked at first glance. So, it's best to ask Raj, the store owner, if the item is in stock. The odds are that it will be tucked away on a shelf and he will graciously point out the location.Vassar students have come to appreciate the store's convenient location and service (including summer storage for their dorm room items). The store has consistently proven to be the go-to-place for those items that one often needs right at the moment; simply stated "When you need it now and are ready to pay." Items such as, AAA batteries, a gel ice pack, a cake decoration, a gas filled balloon, WD-40, a certain size box, and even craft paper.The best part of the shopping experience is the friendly exchange of kind words with Raj, which my wife and I have enjoyed for the past 13 years. Another five-star small business serving the Arlington community.”
“I love this store for its affordability but I was not so happy when I road my bike 10miles to find out cat food is not $1.50 The dollar tree store is not $1 no .ore they have prices increased all the way up to $20 or more. This should not be labled Dollar Tree for the buisness anymore if its just going to be the same as Family Dollar, Dollar General, 5 bellow false advertising too. 5 bellow is not only $5 or less.”
“Great go-to store for general items at a realistic price. I have bought basic household items such as drinking glasses, silverware, laundry baskets, laundry detergent, etc. Grabbing a 2 pack of twinkies and a soda while in line is also a perk since we do not keep sweets in the house.”

“I shop at the store multiple times a week. Again, they have soup To nuts. Extremely happy with the prices for what they have to offer, which is basically everything. Bathroom and kitchen rugs, throw rugs. Food, etc. I am so happy they built one less than a mile from my home. I am there all the time.”

“I always love going into Dollar general in pleasant valley ny due to there great prices and everyone is so nice and greets you at the door. If I ever have any questions someone is always there to assist me. I love when Brian works he is always on the go helping anyone he can. He's a fast and courteous guy who really cares about his costumers. He always has proper respect and always loves a challenge. I always see him multitasking and creating a great safe work environment for everyone. All the aisles are cleared to walk through with carts and shop as go for a great shopping experience. I love this location do to all new staff and Brian is a wonderful worker as well as the new employees. I can see that this dollar general is progressing fast and I will continue to shop there knowing it's a safe environment for all. Fantastic work ethic in this dollar general.
