Parkside Whispering Pines is a fun and enjoyable, family and kid friendly mini golf course. It holds a nostalgic look as the oldest mini golf course and is in a nice, shady location, pleasant even on hot days. The course is adjacent to a diner and near Lake Ontario and Seabreeze Amusement Park. It offers a decently challenging experience with a variety of fun, painted golf balls and some highlight holes, including one wild hole where you chip over grass. The course has had some renovations, with holes now flush with the playing surface for an easier level of difficulty. However, some reviews note that maintenance could be improved. Past issues included raised cups on mounds making shots hard to sink, sloped terrain, balls getting stuck or rolling against the sides, and some lanes where balls can easily go out of play. The area around the course is small and can crowd up quickly. The venue sells ice cream and drinks. Regarding lighting, newer perimeter lights have created shadows and poorly-lit areas on the course, making evening play less pleasant, so daylight hours are recommended. Overall, it makes for a good outing and a fun experience.
Omg, I have played a lot of mini golf and had a blast here. Very well maintained course and the only chip shot I have ever seen on a mini golf course. They also sell ice cream and drinks. The course has a good amount of natural shade and seating along the way.

Enjoyed putt-putt here. Unique holes and history. Just missed out on the restaurant being open for lunch

Super fun and enjoyable! Little bit pricey at 10 dollars but definitely worth it. As a golf player it was nice to see a chip in hole, definitely my favorite! Service was nice and the clubs were a little short but that’s fine! Nice playing on a piece of American history!
