A nice, kid friendly mini golf course. They sell icecream and drinks there aswell. The golf course itself is alright, a lot of the holes could use an update as several people's balls get stuck in certain areas. But overall a fun experience.

Updating my review to say that in 2023 the course had some renovations. Still that same nostalgic look but the holes are now flush with the playing surface giving an easier and much more enjoyable level of difficulty.

Enjoyable, family friendly course adjacent to a diner, and just down the road from Lake Ontario and Seabreeze Amusement Park. Course could use a little maintenance, but otherwise makes for a good outing.

For a smaller mini golf course, this place was great. We had a lot of fun and the course was challenging.

I love a good game of mini-golf, but Whispering Pines has problems it needs to fix in order to make their course MUCH more enjoyable.- The biggest issue is with the cups. Every single hole is raised up on a small mound making shots incredibly hard to sink even from a close range. What could be a perfect, dead-on putt is marred by the rise to the hole. It's incredibly annoying and frustrating.- Some lanes can easily send your ball out of play (whether that be within the park or into the street). The starting plate sometimes has a dip right after it which gives the ball some air if you hit it hard enough.- The course loooooves to roll your ball up against the sides.- While the course has some highlights (Hole 15), overall it's kind of meh. The mound issue just makes it worse.Unrelated to the course itself, the area where the course is is very small and crowds up quick. There's some area to stand around to wait, but I can't imagine being here during peak hours. It's cool that Whispering Pines is oldest mini golf course, but you're not missing much if you don't go.

Extremely rude staff, poorly maintained course, no mask requirements or child supervision. The mini golf course was much better a few years ago, I brought my daughter and her friend and it seemed like they enjoyed to pick pebbles up off the greens and throw them at each other more than golfing itself, needless to say we won't be coming back here ever again.

Whispering Pines is one of the loveliest mini golf courses around! It is a nice, shady location, so even on hot sunny days it is very pleasant and comfortable. The one downside is when you play after sunset... Historically, the course lighting was provided by overhead string lights strung in a grid over the entire course, which provided nice, even lighting wherever you were. But more recently, newer "security" style lights were installed around the periphery of the course, creating a less pleasant (i.e. industrial feeling) ambiance, while also creating shadows and poorly-lit areas towards the center of the course, in some cases making it difficult to see the hole, take your shot, etc. The "upgraded" lights were not a change for the better, unfortunately, so now we only go during daylight hours.

Absolutely have no idea how anyone can think that this place is good. I have never played on such an unplayable miniature golf course like this one. The main issue is that 4-6 inches around EVERY hole is unevenly raised flooring/wood beneath the artificial turf (possibly poor repairs). This in addition to EVERY cup being dinged and bent along the rim which is ABOVE the turf by about 1/8th inch. So putts that seem to be dead center and destined to drop in either get deflected away by the uneven flooring beneath the turf just prior to the hole or bounce off of the cup. Ridiculously frustrating and absolutely not fun! In addition, there’s no place or room to stand when putting as each hole is too small and surrounded by sloped large rocks and high wood board framing. The tee box/start of each hole is small, sloped and worn and the ball won’t stay still to putt, it just rolls off. The holes were so slanted and the carpet so fast (too smooth) that when you’d try to position a ball inches away from the boards to putt, it would roll right back to nestle along the board. We have played a course that was about to be closed. It was so worn down that the wooden boards and framing were showing through the turf in some spots. We enjoyed that broken down course MUCH MORE than this one. Will never go back!! Worst mini golf course I’ve/we’ve ever played!! Do NOT recommend!
