“Offer high quality produces from Japan. Great sushi grade hand picked by the owner and flown daily from Japan Fish Market. Good cream puffs on the weekend. If you park on the meter, they will reimburse you for. Also, they offered a variety of Bento boxes (Set Lunch box) for grab and go. Small sushi shop and Bakery inside as well.”

“Pleasantly surprised to learn that Frontier Market est. 2018 is the OG location for later Maruichi delis in MA, CT, and NJ. Considerably smaller location compared to the newer generation stores. The little parking space next to the building is near impossible to back out of, so you are better off parking along the road. Bentos and onigiris (if there are any left) are immediately to your left upon entry and, unfortunately, all chilled and not kept warm under heat lamps like the Maruichi locations. The kind cashier lady did direct me to the microwave they offer inside the store. Their Facebook page does a great job of advertising the specials every week, especially fresh meats. Given the small footage of Frontier that's similar to that of other Japanese stores like Daido and Fuji in the area, you will either visit for the uniquely Japanese items or just a fun browse if you happen to be in the area. For a more immersive and productive Asian grocery shopping experience, I would rather visit an H-Mart or cross the river to Mitsuwa NJ.”

“Full service polish deli with great European delicatessen meats including head cheese,salami,double bacon,polish style rolled bacon(we call it Capicola). Hard to find polish grocery items spices etc. Stopped for a quick lunch to go which is today pork stew(not fatty at all) dumplings (similar to potato gnocchi) cold sauerkraut with dill and a radish salad. Also picked up a Nutella and a rose Packzi(donuts) which are almost double the size of your standard jelly doughnuts. No competition does not sway my review if a place is clean friendly reasonable and fresh food it's worth the trip”

“First impressions are lasting, and just from the interaction I had with the lovely soul behind the counter, I will make it a point to pop over when I make my usual patronage to businesses in the area. I wanted to grab a tea so I decided to pop in. She introduced me to Barry's Tea. She said if I like strong tea, Barry's is the way to go. As an avid tea drinker, I've never heard of the brand, but I gave it a go. I'll drink it once it cools a bit. I really appreciate the suggestion, and now that I've had a sip...WOW! I like it. It's the little things that make or break businesses, and you can tell this place has been here for some time. I'll be back.”

“Usually whenever I go there I take someone with me who can't refuse to go inside. Even if I am being driven by the taxi from work, my regular driver wants to go too. Try not to miss out on the natural food arrangements and isles of choice items .They even cook in the back offering takeout. They used to have seating and but now that that's gone, the chef there is still cooking up great natural food menus.”

“The cooked food was immaculate, the shopping area was quiet. It was my first time visiting yesterday (10/26/2023) but I came a bit too early and had to wait an hour before the hot food was available. They have a cafe area to sit and eat or cool down, and I just watched a show until opening. The lady at the front is a bit impatient but I can understand (especially when you just got into work). I had the kimbap which was delicious!!! It literally melts in your mouth…so good!!! Then I had Jjajang and the honey garlic chicken in a medium. Nice portions! I really loved the atmosphere. Clean and quiet in the early morning. I don’t know how it is throughout the day but I will be back!”

“Best turon I've ever had. Crunchy even after hours later. I'm so used to eating soggy turon but theirs beat everyone's in the water. The lady was very helpful and nice. They have other filipino dishes available and a mini mart with some filipino snacks and condiments. They have a small area to dine in. Will definitely come back for more turon.”
