βThis Costco location is a hidden gem. The gas pump lines were short and moved quickly. The prices were among the best I've seen on Long Island. I will stop at this Costco if I'm anywhere in the area.β

He will diagnose well, and give it to you straight.
I called LITERALLY 10 Auto Repair Shops for the same job. I had already purchased the parts myself, and as a sidenote, some shops wonβt do the work if youβre bringing your own parts. So out of the 10 shops, a couple wouldnβt do it for that reason, several didnβt have availability for anywhere from one to three weeks, and the others ranged in price from $500-$800..
(Replace Radiator + 2 hoses and Thermostat).
Jay hooked it up for $375, and he did it the next day, I didnβt have to wait a week.
Iβve been here several times and the word around town is nothing but GOOD, as far as reputation goes.
So for the 1 or 2 bad reviews here, I promise you they DO NOT reflect the character of this establishment. The 2 bad reviews, I spoke with Jay about both of them in detail, they reflect only the poor character of the reviewers themselves.
Some people want everything for literally nothing, and will try Complaining as a tactic to get what they want. And as a general rule in business and in life, you canβt please everyone.
Pay no mind to those people, this place should have a 5.0 Iβm just being honest. Thanks for your help Jay!! Iβll definitely be back and keep referring more business to you, even though you have plenty! β?β

βHe is very good, very reliable, flexible, responsive, good price. So why I replaced him? Just because Petro supply me not only with oil, but also with propane and boiler service, so I only need to deal with one supplier rather than 3. Otherwise I would stay with him forever. Very recomendedβ
βRick at Fred's Service Center is absolutely THE BEST. He is extremely honest. Whenever I bring my vehicle in, which I have for about 6 years after his friend Helmut retired, I am treated with respect and dealt with in a very truthful, straightforward fashion with quick turnaround as well.
Fred's Service Center is THE place to go for all of your auto repair needs. It is local to Deer Park, all of the Babylons, West Islip, Baywood, Brightwaters, West/North Bay Shore and Dix Hills.

βEveryone here is great . AK is awesome has great attention to detail and is tremendously courteous friendly and respectful. My experience at San Remo has was a pleasant one with the staff and the job that they do.
I went in for an inspection with an engine light on my RAM 1500, AK diagnosed and started by replacing the least expensive part. I was then asked to drive my car for approximately 35 to 40 miles upon returning the engine light had gone off and it was able to pass inspection.
This type of integrity you canβt pass up on. This place is great.

βI have no problem going out of my way to come to this store and play my numbers. It's actually a pleasant inviting place to play your numbers and get gas. The gentleman behind the counter is professional and friendly and doesn't make you feel like your inconveniencing him as a lot of places tend to do these days. The store is clean and the atmosphere is, " customer friendly ". The added positive is the gentleman who does my numbers has never made a mistake on them and you don't have to repeat the same numbers over and over because he is attentive enough to listen and play them right the first time.β

βValero's new app, when attached to a Valero cc, sets you up for serious savings. 10 cents off per gallon everyday. 20 cents off per gallon on special days. Other special deals. You just pull up, out the pump number in the app and you're ready to fill 'er up.One part of it I don't like. They used to give you the cash price for using their cc. Now they apply those discounts to the cc price, which usually ends up being a few cents higher than cash. It chaps my ass, but not a deal breaker.The shop inside is your typical small gas mart. Nothing to write home about. Staff is friendly. Lotto ticket scanner blows, haha.β

βThe had the V-Power premium fuel which I wanted to try. I'm not exactly sure if it's the fuel, the cooler or the combination of the two that is making my car run so much better. The gas attendant was polite and pleasant. The pricing was better than most of the surrounding gas stations.β
