State of the Art Gallery is a Cooperative fine art gallery showing new works from area artists. Located in the heart of downtown Ithaca, our nearly 30 members display art monthly. Artists work in diverse media including oil and acrylic paint, oil pastel, pencil and charcoal, fabric art, cyanotype, video, and photography. Come visit during our regular hours Thurs-Sun noon to 5pm or join us on First Friday for Gallery Night in Ithaca, 5-8pm to see the newest show and meet the artists.

Lovely little artist, cooperative gallery in downtown Ithaca... Rotating monthly exhibit in the front with a smaller curated collection in the back room based upon a theme. Volunteer artist staff the main desk and are friendly and helpful.

Great local gallery that's very involved with the community. The local artists go out of their way to speak with anyone who's interested in their work. I only bought a small print, but they made the experience very memorable. Highly recommend.
