This bank (not the employees) has a "nutty," illogical policy!I rarely make cash deposits at my physical branch Capital One Bank. The rare times that I do, I don't feel comfortable making cash deposits at the ATM machine. As such, I only make my deposits at the counter.When making deposits at the counter, one MUST show personal ID. This is even after inserting my bank card with my PIN at the counter. There was a day where I needed to make a small cash deposit into my checking acct. to cover a bill, the bank teller as well as the bank manager, would not accept my "cash" without ID. I had left my wallet at home that day and only had my bank card.This was a small "deposit", NOT a "withdrawal" where ID would make sense to me even though it was not necessary. Baffled and very disappointed, I was ready to make a run home to get my ID when a very pleasant bank assistant approached, informed, and reminded me if I use the ATM machine to make a deposit, I didn't need ID. Only insert my card, PIN, cash, press "deposit," done!I fail to see the logic for my transaction experience at the bank counter with a live teller.I make note, it's the human policy that irks me. To be fair, I did make a minor commotion to vent my frustration. The bank personnel, as well as the guard, were outstanding and were very compassionate, but helpless for my concern.Note: I also telephoned customer service about my issue, the rep was stumped! The rep's supervisor didn't care and was the only one "nasty!" "Follow the bank policy and show your ID, clunk"!!

This is my first time in this location, to start people are so rude and they clearly don’t know anything about customer service. I visited the branch to make a wire and I was not able to process because of the time frame, however the way the teller/banker handled the situation was unacceptable. I used to work in Capital One a few years ago and customer service was a priority. I am not sure what is happening with this company.

Do NOT use Capital One for your personal or business transactions. I had an open account for over 10 years and Capital One closed it WITHOUT informing me. I went to use my credit card and it declined... they have REFUSED to reopen my account and now, thanks to Capital One my credit score and history has been compromised. What a waste - I worked hard to get my credit where it is today and now I have to work hard another few years. Extremely disappointed Capital One has done NOTHING to help the situation. 0/10. Do NOT recommend.

Employees act like they are sitting in a cafeteria. They are chilling, cracking jokes and stuff. I felt stupid visiting this branch. But never been to any other branch anyways. If I see the same scene in other capital one, i will definitely be closing all my accounts with them.

You wonder why Capitol One branch in Jackson Heights was one area (JH’s) hit hard by Covid. This is ashamed that it could occurred again due to the failure of banks!!!! This is not the first nor it will be the last!!! There’s no 6 ft followed in this bank!

This is the worse bank not enough people to take care of anything. Have still not been seen anyone after trying to make appointment. Came in four times and was not able to get past the guard because he was told not to let anyone in to make appointment. Have papers to return and questions but not able to see anyone.Want to know if my money is safe.AMT machines have been down and more people standing outside on line waiting to get to the machines.There will be trouble when it gets to point no one can get there money because the machines are always down.

UNACCEPTABLE wait times and line for a teller. Line was about 25 people long, out of the main lobby, with just 2 tellers, likely to take an hour. They should pay you $15/hr for your time. This is legalized red-lining of a neighborhood.
