βThe NYC Barber Museum is an interesting concept, but I felt it lacked some organization. The displays were informative, but I wish they were better laid out. Arthur did a great job with my haircut, though. His technique is impressive, and heβs friendly, making the experience enjoyable. Iβd recommend it for a haircut, but the museum aspect could use some improvementsβ

βI'm absolutely in love with this Church. It has always been outstanding, but now even more with all the changes that Father Higgens and Father Vincent have brought on. They have so much passion, and I love that they both speak spanish as well as english.
The mass is also live streamed daily on YouTube on My Catholic Soundview.β

βSRF is a Rare Gem that offers interested seekers a clear & direct path to God Consciousness. It's laid out for you by a modern day Saint. The Truth Resonated for me in a Loud & Clear Manner. It's a simple process - but don't confuse simple for easy. This will allow you to be who We are all meant To Be. Miraculous Guidance will appear out of seemingly nowhere, but soon you'll know who & what is happening. There's so much more to tell but not enough space. ALL of my questions were Addressed & Answered...
even the far fetched ones that I wasn't even sure were a "thing" turned out were! Like I said Addressed & Answered. Go for it!!β
βThe best place in NY for beginning Buddhist meditation and deeper exploration. Itβs a vibrant, open community with some of the best teachers I know. There is something here for all spiritual inclinations.β

βIt's tough finding a God-genuine place of worship and growth. Especially in today's world. Well, this is a wonderful church. Those who run it, do so in a genuine manner. So do open your heart and mind and God will lead you where it is meant for you to be. But if you need to go, this is a blessed place. God bless.β
βI love all the churches but St. Cecilia is not far away from me here in NYC, just 5 minutes walking. I am welcomed every time and Father Peter is an outstanding preacher. I am original German but I speak several languages ββand being a former pop stars on national TV in Europe, I still love to sing.
I always sang for God! I love, trust and believe in the son of God, our lord Jesus Christ!

βI stopped here for lunch and "Fika" with my daughter on Memorial day weekend. You will have no problem finding the cafe, just follow the "Kanalbullar" Cinnamon buns smell. Being a half Swede this was a nice little taste of Sweden. All the staff I met were from Sweden and were extremely nice. It was also nice to be able to practice the Swedish I know. The gift shop in the cafe, was very nice as well, lot's of Swedish gifts. The "KΓΆttbullsmaka" Swedish meatball sandwich, with red beat salad on rye bred was very tasty as well. The price for the sandwich, a cinnamon bun and coffee came to around $15 which for NY is a very good price. I wish we had had more time to tour the rest of the church. Maybe next time! It's a great place to stop even if it's just to rest and have a cup of coffee. It is easy to find, just 2 blocks south from St. Patricks Cathedral off 5th ave on 48th Street. Just look for the Swedish Flag ??.β
βI occasionally go to the church for the Christmas Eve Mass! And every Sunday during ordinary times, I'm actually doing more boxing moves at my Godfather's house so that I can become the strongest video game fighter ever!β
βMy family and I have been going to this church since I was a little kid. I got baptized, joined the front door ministry, and gave my heart to the lord and also got married here. I have been to a lot of other churches but I always want to be here. The people are so friendly and Bishop Nelson is a great leader. I love him and his family and I never feel like this church is to big that you couldnβt interact with all the leaders, staff and church attendees. I always feel like his sermons are right on the money. Great for adults, and kids as they have a wonderful children's ministry. I feel like they have something for everyone. This is my home and even though I donβt live so close anymore. I always make the drive to attend.β
βThe church is beautiful!!! I was charmed by it and I'm from Krakow! The noise of the New York streets... you "accidentally" go inside... and peace, quiet, beauty worthy of a cathedral! If New Yorkers knew that no one would throw you out of a Catholic church, even if it's not your religion... and no one would force you to pay or tip for entering, everyone would come! But I guess they don't know that they can just sit with God for free, because it's empty inside :)β
βHave not been here in a while but the services has been a blessing. This is where I was baptized and I attended service as well. I went back a few weeks ago I was told by the construction workers that the building was undergoing repairs.β

βI am so grateful for this Salvation Army location, the resources are greatly needed by this community, especially during these hard times will continue to support them whenever I can. Thank youβ
βThey have a food bank 3 times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (Check during holidays though). They are very friendly, and I love volunteering here when I'm able. They have a church service on Sunday, and other activities during the week including after school club. Everyone is compassionate in how they serve, and I'm glad they're here helping the community.β
βWonderful service and the preacher is an excellent teacher. The choir sung lots of beautiful songs and the band is great. It was a full house, but they have a large balcony. See Bishop Omega on YouTube Webcast also.β
βGet blessed and follow the words of Jesus Christ, our Savior. This church is beautiful and a historic landmark in NYC. A must visit for anyone coming to the city. Whether you're religious or not the architecture is amazing and a sight to behold.β
βWhat a beautiful Catholic Church hidden in the milieu of Canarsie. Not too far from exit 13 on the Belt Parkway. The cross on the wall serves as a reminder of Jesus Christ as the center of our life. It's a must see Church. If you have never visited....put it on your list. With a new pastor in charge and a vibrant community...this church will continue to spread the gospel and attract the flock!β
βThe church is incredibly peaceful and spiritual. The homilies are some of the best Iβve heard and I love the deep throaty bells that announce mass and the coming of our Lord!β
βThis is a wonderful family church. I have been searching for a family church that will be appropriate for my grandchildren and this is it. This church cater for every age. This church preaches Jesus. This is a place I like to be everyday Sunday anytime I am around in New York city.β

βit's been a bit of a bummer since registration's started, but you can be sure they'll have room for both you and the Lord ? all we can hope for is a day where we can return to maskless praise, amen ??β

βGreat worship atmosphere. People are warm and welcoming. If you are looking for a church home, I will recommend Wake Eden. Community Baptist Church. Blessings ?β
βIβm not Protestant but my aunt is. Been there a handful of times and Pastor Alfred is very inviting and friendly to visitors and members. But the members can be very rude, they have rules that they follow such as no pants, skirts only. No earrings. Iβve asked Pastor Alfred and he just wants you to be comfortable. Services tend to be long so make sure you eat before coming here.β
βThis used to be my church and still is, but I moved from Far Rockaway and it's even harder for me to make it to this church. The Pastor here is really sweet and the deacon and everyone here would lend you a helping hand if you needed? Prayers goes in handy in this church.β

βWandered into the church courtyard on a balmy Saturday to read on a bench and eventually met the churchβs new priest Christine Lee. She is so kind, warm, inviting, real. The works! Anyone who attends this church is in such good hands. Now that churches are back for in-person services, I look forward to attending one in their storied, beautiful church.5 stars!!!!β
βRev. Micah Bucey leads this gorgeous space for worship, artistic creation, and sanctuary. Thank God they exist, and thank God for all the good work they do. NYC would be much worse off without their efforts.β
βI've been here couple of times with my friend. At first I was kind of shy, but the people here are so wholesome. There is programs for everyone, they range on your age. Everyone struggles to make friends or establish good relationships with new people. Here is very different though, everyone is cool, and even the staff are great here. There is no sanitation issues in this place, everything is tidy and beautiful... this place is very calming and relaxing. This place is AMAZING! Apart from all of that, there is church and it is very good and the community is healthy and fun. They have a variety of things such as Guitar lessons, and there is a basketball court to play in, there are drums... so many things.β
βIt is a wonderful place. I came to this country a year ago and they have not stopped collaborating with us. I have three children and they have always supported us in everything. Miss Jessica is a sweetheart. The pastor, the pastor and all her staff are really nice and meaningful people. collaboration to ?β
βI used to go to this church every Sunday and then also on Tuesdays when I became a member, but then I stopped going because I have something that prevents me from being still.β
