Since the pandemic I was unable to go in person to where I usually buy my supplies. I found Optima Beauty Supply in Jackson Heights that I can order online and have products shipped! Terrific store and prices. Items shipped quickly and everything is packed well. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

Every time I walk in here I feel so uncomfortable. I like the beauty supply because it has what I need but they stare you down as if you’re going to steal throughout the store. I will not return!

Extremely unprofessional and rude. Will never order from here again. Owner doesn’t know simple communication nor manners apparently. Very disappointing to know if you have an issue , management will not help you.

ABSOLUTELY terrible customer service. I will not be giving this beauty supply store my business ever again. I have been shopping at this beauty supply store since I was in middle school, a loyal customer, even brining my friends and family to this business and gaining Optima Beauty Supply store traction. But after an incident at this store today that included assumptions, discrimination and profiling I will be reporting this business to the BBB (Better Business Bureau.) My friends and I were looking through the aisles buying the necessary items needed for our Halloween costumes, while one of the store employees is staring down at us. We understand that many beauty supply stores deal with theft, so we didn’t think much of it. I got my items and as had my items rang up by the cashier. She allows me to pay and then questions me asking, “Did you put back the small pack of lashes back on the rack? If I check your pockets I know I willl find it.” Immediately I retaliated because of her assumptions about teenage girls stealing and profiling us to be thieves. I had already paid, but we left the items and vocalized the discrimination at hand. This experience was very disheartening and made us young girls feel targeted and discriminated against. I would refrain from giving this Optima Beauty Supply store any business as they obviously displayed acts of discrimination against customers- proving the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. ACCUSING YOUR CUSTOMERS OF THEFT IS NOT HOW YOU RUN A BUSINESS !

Do not go here if you do not speak fluent Spanish! There workers do not speak a word of English and since thier hair color books are behind the counter I had to try to communicate with them in my broken Spanish what hair color I wanted. I still somehow ended up with the wrong hair color perhaps my accent was to thick for them to understand. When I attempted to return the color the manager told me "Not to come back there since I couldn't communicate with there workers. I guess the amount of energy to pick a color for me only to get it wrong due to the language barrier wasn't worth it for them and refused to refund me or return my color just to insure I wouldn't return." I'm assuming I'm the first person to leave with the wrong product due to a communication problem and he wanted to insure that I understood fully not return, so he dosnt loose money on returning people's items :(
