“Stopped by to have my chain removed from being stuck in the wheel. Total life saver! Took him maybe 30-min to take out the back wheel, get the chain, add a guard and reassemble. Tipped him 100% for taking care of it urgently”
“This bike shop is amazing. We called for them to build a bicycle we purchased online. They took us in the same day and had the bike built, tuned, and ready for pickup the next morning! They treated us like family, made sure we understood all aspects of the new bike, and were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable.
We bought some accessories for the bike and they mounted everything we bought from racks to bells to water bottle holders! They have a full stock of clothing, bicycle accessories, bells, tools, replacement tires, and a wide selection of bicycles for purchase, from starter to high end. We instantly became life long customers! This family owned bike shop really cares about their customers. Extra points for having an adorable doggy!”
“I had a flat tire on the Rockaway boardwalk. John, the service manager, stopped and repaired my flat, charged me nothing. He paused his bike ride with friends to offer me assistance. I am impress & grateful for his generosity. I will now be using this store for all my needs.”
“all these different people are talking about how rude and expensive the people and store are but i bought a flip board today and they let me slide $1.63 because he saw i didn't have the exact change and they also put the grip tape on the board likity split. have no bad memories only good ones from this place, imma pull up tmro and buy wheels and some stickers. 10/10 would recommend and WILL RETURN.”
“Had a wonderful experience with the team at Spin City! They built my bike and took less than 24 hours to turn it around, I couldn’t believe it. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff answered all my questions and made sure I had everything I needed to get out on the road. Ken is a rockstar ?? I can’t wait to go back for the bike care class in the winter!”
“Bought my snow blower from them a few years ago….. I had to have it serviced, they kept me in the loop the entire process and had it fixed and ready to go before the snow storm!!! Thank you guys for keeping my snowblower in tip top shape!! Better than new!!!!”
“Came here to get air in my wheels, and i for sure did, but also got a free little tune up that took 10m and it made my bike 100 times better and safer to ride. Shoutout to Dimitri for helping me!”

“Our go-to spot for bike maintenance and upkeep. Unfortunately, they tune it so well that we are not required to replace the bikes.
The place is exceptionally well organized;
Looks like a one-person enterprise, more a passion project than a commercial aspiration?
We do recognize that this shop is for pro-cyclists. Ed's doing a favor if he's fixing and tuning your kids' or folding or cruiser bike. It's charity work for him, even if he's charging for it.
Although it not been our experience, did hear one customer suggest they wipe hard-to-reach spots when they tune-up or take wheels apart.”
“Amazing customer service very friendly
Fast and reliable, well priced fixed what has to be fixed not trying to push for other stuff to be added
Got be back on the road in no time”
“Great neighborhood shop for all your cycling needs. Owner takes great pride in his craft and treats all customers with respect and care. We have been customers since way back and happy they’ve stayed right here in our community. Only issue which seems to plague this business is the hours can be unpredictable and what is typical is not always reliable.”
“I took my bicycle for a quick service, flat tire and chain lubrication and received fast and professional service at a reasonable cost. I'd use their services again. Thank you!”
“I’ve been into Spokesman Cycles in Glendale a few times now — first with my son’s bike and recently with mine — and every visit has been great. The guys here are honest, quick, and really know their stuff. Service is fast, prices are fair, and they never try to upsell you on things you don’t need. It’s exactly the kind of neighborhood shop you want to support.
And don’t forget to say hi to Guppy the cat while you’re there — she’s super sweet and makes the place feel even more welcoming.”
“Really nice local shop to buy regular and electric bikes. I went to here with my child to buy a bike for casual biking and transportation. I would recommend stopping in here if your look to buy a bicycle.”
“Hector was amazing. Extremely patient. Assembled and tuned the bike we bought. Showed the do's and dont's to our son and did it very fast. Thank you Hector.”
“Hector provided a full service along with new brake pads and a chain on my Schwinn mountain bike. His prices are very reasonable. I was very pleased with the results. Thanks Hector!
You will see me again”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If I could give this place 15 stars, I would.
I absolutely love Tony’s Bicycles and the owner. I’ve taken my bike here multiple times for everything — tune-ups, repairs, small fixes — and the experience is consistently excellent.
Compared to the shops I used in Manhattan and Brooklyn (even the UES spots I thought would be “top tier”), Tony’s is faster, more reliable, and they use OEM parts when possible without needing to be asked. They’ll often fix little things for free, like straightening bent handlebars or replacing end caps, just because they care.
What’s even better is you don’t always have to explain what’s wrong — they’ll often spot issues before they become problems. Last summer, Tony warned me that part of my chain was warped. Fast forward a year, my derailleur snapped — exactly what he warned could happen. They replaced it all and had me back on the road in no time.
If you’re ever unhappy with something, just ask to speak to Tony directly. He genuinely wants to make things right.
Also, keep in mind that not everyone there speaks English as a first language. What might sound blunt or rushed is a PROFESSIONAL trying to assure you they have everything under control in their best English.
I’m honestly shocked to see any poor reviews. This is a local gem. I’ll keep coming back again and again.”
“Great shop with excellent service. My visit was quick and easy. Left with a trek bike for myself which I am extremely happy with. Would definitely recommend to shop for a bike here.”

“Great service when I came here on Wednesday to get my flat change he charged me 30$ perfect price cuz I did not need a tube change , I recommend everyone to come here if they have a problem with they E bike ??”
“Since the whole management change this shop has been on point every time I visited. They show a lot more attention to detail and care in the customers queries and problems and do it while maintaining professionalism and addressing the issue directly at hand with ease. Whereas before there was a very small hot headed minion looking spanish guy who was very rude and arrogant and was very dismissive and outright disrespectful I’m so glad he’s gone and been replaced with amazing people. KEEP IT UP GUYS!! CONSISTENCY IS KEY ?!!”

“The owner was super helpful and very knowledgeable! He taught me how to use the tools i needed to change cranks and was nice enough to let me borrow the tools when it took me forever to get the job done. Awesome lil shop!”
“I came out of the gym to a flat tire on my bike and came here, they replaced the tube and tuned everything up for under $20. Great service, fast and friendly. Will definitely be returning here for my bike needs.”
“I bought a trek for my wife on her birthday and the owner was very helpful, respectful and courteous with us. I forgot his name, he's the man of asian descent. The repair/ tune up individual, i forgot his name, he is the man of Hispanic descent, was also very respectful, courteous and very efficient at his job. The bike I bought her was at a reasonable price and They threw in a few extra goodies for my wife's birthday for free as well!!!
I LOVE THIS BIKE SHOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“Came here to get a modest bike to keep in shape… sometimes you want to change up your “10k steps routine” and stay off your feet. Robert was very knowledgeable & truly helpful in assisting with the right kind of bike - I absolutely enjoy the quality and beauty of this item & will be back for more!”
“5 star, hands down the best bike shop in Astoria. Andres is the founder and he runs it with his family. He is the classic hard working immigrant story. Came to the States with a dream and built a bike shop that's been in business for 20+ years. I've come to this shop for 10+ years and never once left disappointed. They are passionate about what they do. And they are experts. I feel like part of the family when I go back now, lol.. Highly recommended.”
“Bellitte Bicycles is one of those rare gems that reminds you of how things used to be — when craftsmanship mattered, honesty was standard, and a handshake meant something. Walking into this shop feels like stepping back into a time when neighborhood businesses knew your name and took pride in every job, big or small. The team here carries on that tradition beautifully — knowledgeable, straightforward, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether you’re getting a quick tune-up or talking components, you’ll find people who care as much about your ride as you do. In a world full of big-box stores and online clicks, Bellitte Bicycles stands as a proud reminder that the old-school way is still the best way.”
