“Defi is a gem--by far the best restaurant I've been to in Syracuse! The food is delicious, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. They use fresh local ingredients and the menu changes weekly. We chose the 5-course fixed-price menu, but there are also a la carte options. Our dinner included tarts with goat cheese, peas, lemon and micro greens; incredibly tender rolled pork loin stuffed with sausage with coarse mustard; beets and tuna tartare on a lemon emulsion; roast duck legs with stew vegetables and sauce over savory gnocchi (which is one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted); and a crepe wrapped around sweetened house-made ricotta for dessert. We ordered the wine pairings for first four courses, and they were delicious. A co-owner is a grade 3 sommelier, which I think means that he knows a lot about wines from around the world and has exceptionally good taste. The wines were extraordinary and a bargain at $7/glass. We didn't order a mixed drink, but a person nearby ordered one that looked delicious. The waiter/bartender talked about how he made the drink; he seemed just as invested in creating delicious cocktails as the chef was in preparing sublime food. We sat at the counter, which gave us a chance to chat with our waiter, the chef, and the sommelier. It was a delightful experience and I can't wait to go back.”

“Attention Truckers: When delivering here and if your driving a 53 ft trailer, drive very slow onto the parking lot as there is a mailbox there which could be hit, have your tandems adjusted accordingly. Check in with the staff and they'll have you dock in an available door. This will mostly be a straight line back if you set yourself up correctly. Unloading was under an hour and I got my signed BOL's from receiver. And when you leave, again do it very slowly and with cautionOverall The workers here are very friendly and have a good sense of humor. I would deliver here again!”

Take a walk through sometime just to see what they have. Also, in the Sprint they have cages of chicks. Now I know why people buy them. “We love Lowes! In the paint department, my wife and I needed to match some paints to redo our living room at Kim from the Rt. 31 Syracuse store was incredibly helpful. In needing a new fridge also, she pointed us i the right direction and had our paint all mixed and ready for us. You could tell she valued our time by being effcient in her work and direction and she was just a pleasure to work with. In the refridgerator area, Matt was very helpful during the day answering questions and checking stock for us. Refrigerators have sure changed and he got us up to date with what features we could look for in various models, price points, etc. Later that night, Scott was incredibly helpful and patient with us as we made our final decisions and closed the deal. There was some delay with getting the Lowe's charge card (saved 100 dollars right there) . I had to speak to a representative from their credit department on the phone. This could have been a pain but Scott sanitized his phone, let me speak to the person and we were able to complete the transaction with no problem. Scott had a very good sense of humor, ability to juggle several customers without any of them feeling unsupported and very good overall knowledge of the products and the specifications that would be our best bets! Great job, Lowes! Scott, Kim and Matt have served you well this holiday season!!!”

“I can't say enough about the fine folks at Jamesville Hardware! I was doing some work on my 16 year-old self-propelled lawnmower. Because the mower is so old, I was having trouble locating a discontinued part that was needed to fix it. Roger helped me find a replacement part and even helped me disassemble the piece in his shop to allow the part fit on my current mower.Wishing I could give these folks 6 STARS. I will definitely return to Jamesville Hardware very soon! Great place. Better people!”
