“Dicks Auto is the place to call when you need an emergency towing or repair. I have called upon them myself and I had a houseguest whose car would not start on a weekend and they came out to rescue him so he could travel back home. This is a family business that has operated locally for years. Highly recommend Dicks. My mother also purchased several very good used cars from Dick.”
“Manor Motors is a Sullivan County/Livingston Manor based mechanics shop. They are open early, are quick to pick up the phone, and are a special kind of neighborhood friendly.
We had a bit of car trouble on my way from Brooklyn to the Catskills. We called ahead to make an appointment and our car had a full review, all fluids topped off, tire pressure checked, and an oil change. They found the source of my worry and had it adjusted. Everything was done in under an hour and a half, I got a neat invoice with all the points, and I got my little oil change sticker.
Thank you to Cory and the team for your thorough and quick work!”
“Love going there Elliot is amazing and all there mechanics are too. They are all so nice and say hi and do the job right. Elliot will let you know if something is wrong and ask before they just fix it.”
“Great experience! They were incredibly helpful and were able to fit us in for a car inspection on very short notice. Everyone was friendly, professional, and efficient, and they made the whole process easy!”
“Michael is an angel. He works hard to look out for customers budget, is clear about options, does quality work, respects your time, follows through, and is kind.”
“They where so profesional, nice and they not only where on a very good timely manner to tow our RV from the side of the highway they also fix it! They work on our baby and fix it within hours! I can not be more happy with Mike and his team! They made our stress melt, and our ending to our vacation very happy! Now we have a place to call and come when we are in this area if we have any future outcomes, with life one never knows. But today my family and me are grateful for Skelly’s towing, Mike and his team!”
“They were so awesome! Friendly and honestly gave a damn about my truck. Came just for an inspection and left with that plus some questions I had about my wrangler!”
“Very friendly and experienced mechanic. I was happy to have found this mechanic who made himself available as soon as possible and resolved my vehicle’s issue in a small manner of time. I couldn’t have been more thankful.”
“Scott and the rest of the crew are fantastic! They are patient, thorough, polite, and honest. They are busy for a reason! Best car repair experience I've ever had hands down.”
“Tom and Wayne are the best! I was killing my self trying to mount a new tire for my lawn tractor, just couldn’t do it. Gave them a call but didn’t think they would want do it as it’s such a small job and not really automotive. Tom said no problem, bring it over. Did it while I waited. Absolute lifesaver. I’ll be taking my cars there for repairs!”
“Noticed a nail in my tire while I was on vacation. Did a quick google search and Mel’s garage came up. He was able to see me immediately and patch the tire in a few minutes. Thankfully I’ll be safe driving 300 miles back to PA! Thank you sir.”
