“I was very pleased with the installation of my storm door it took about an hour and it looks great. I tried asking my neighbors who they used and both of them were not happy with their installations. I took a chance with mikita and was very happy.”

“The only place I deal with when it comes to building supplies. The entire staff is very helpful & most of all very knowledgable. Mike runs a great crew! Tom, Fred, Pete, Thea & Joanne, keep up the great work. A+++ Highly recommend.”
“Absolutely thrilled with my recent mulch delivery. The truckload arrived right on time, neatly dumped exactly where I requested. The quality of the mulch is top-notch: rich color, perfectly shredded, and smells amazing—fresh and earthy, just like it should. I spread it across my garden beds this weekend, and the transformation is incredible. It instantly made everything look polished and professionally landscaped. Not only does it enhance the aesthetics, but I can already tell it’s going to do wonders for moisture retention and weed control. Highly recommend to anyone looking to give their garden a serious upgrade!”
“Urban Specialty Woods is goldmine for Long Island woodworkers. There really is no other hardwood dealers around with fair prices like this place. Harry is extremely helpful and extremely patient. It was truly a great experience dealing with them. I have already recommended them to many people by word of mouth and they all were very satisfied.
This is a great place and will definitely being doing business there again! Great place…can’t say it enough”

“Went in to get to get a toilet but hubby hadn't used is card for over a year so it was expired. Self check out only but Susan was so helpful she walked us through step-by-step through the sign in online process. She was very patient for my hubby had a older model phone. I have an iPhone 13. Should have done it with my iPhone to start with. Lol. Karla was also near by but Even though she was making sure and helping other customers with try check out she also was very pleasant. Will def go back again and again and again. Customer service was an A+.”
“Listen. If you are looking for anything to do with stucco this is the place. I wanted to update the outside of my house with stucco but I am only a carpenter. I had no previous experience with stucco and after going to at least 3 supply places across Nassau and Queens I found this place. The owner is as good of a person and he is a business owner. All I did. Was ask a couple of questions to Gio, as to how to go about installing it, and what I got was a tutorial given to me by a professional which gave me information that money couldn’t buy. He never made me feel like a customer. More like a friend. And it’s not just him. Natalia and Danny are exceptional as well. With a staff like that it’s no wonder he can afford the time to help out a guy like me. More than appreciated my friend. Thomas”
“I've been using Powerhouse Mason Supply for a major home renovation over the last 8 months and they always have what I need at a very good price - especially for Long Island! Nico is wonderful to work with and always helps to ensure we are getting just what we need. He guides until we have the custom outcome for our home. And the rest of the staff is just as helpful - ensuring we get quality product, available or delivered on time and making our house turn into a beautiful home. I have no need to shop other places any longer. Powerhouse continues to go above and beyond!”

“We've ordered doors through Matt a few years ago, and recently through Brian. Both times were pleasant interactions. They were VERY patient with us during the whole process. The lady on the main floor was pleasant as well when we paid to pick up our doors. The pickup guy was also nice. Wished I asked for their names to acknowledge them here.
Very nice company.”

I had a crest on one large window that I needed to be covered with the film to preserve it and it was quite old from 1957 pretty much falling apart but it last legs and I wanted it preserved and this person did such a careful job to do the covering of the film on it without damaging it .
