“Went here with my friend for a day out. We had so much fun building our terrariums!! We completely lost track of time because next thing we know, it's past closing time haha. But Rachel was so nice about it! She was extremely helpful during the ENTIRE process and helped us complete our terrariums even after closing. We didn't feel rushed at all.

We recently had pavers, a new driveway, and steps completed by Island Greenery, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Scott, who runs the masonry division, was easy to work with, professional, and very responsive throughout the project. Communication was smooth and clear, which made the process stress-free.
Jose, the foreman, and his crew did truly amazing work. Their craftsmanship shows in every detail, and Jose went above and beyond on multiple aspects of the job to ensure everything looked perfect. It’s rare to find a team that takes such pride in their work, and it really shows in the finished result.

“I visited Strkies yesterday and today to pick up the nearly 200 flowers to plant in my yard. I wanted to try some new plants and they were extremely helpful in selecting the right plants fir the varying degrees of shade and syn. I got beautiful Rhine and Amstel Begonias, Dahlias, Sun patients, Geranium. New Guinea2, Mariligolds, etc. I didn't get his name but he us very knowledgeable and helpful. A great nursery.”
“I visited this nursery for the first time today after it was recommended to me by Google during my search for unusual-colored anthuriums. According to their website, they had the pink, purple, and orange varieties I was looking for - so I decided to check it out. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The nursery is well-maintained and neatly organized. They carry a wide range of plants and everything a gardening enthusiast might need: tools, pots, seeds, wind chimes, potting soil, fertilizers, and more. The plant displays are arranged inside and outside, as well as at the back of the nursery, making the space visually inviting even from a distance. One feature I particularly appreciated was their floral gift section. They offer flower wrapping services and can add plush toys, balloons, and ribbons to turn your purchase into a beautifully packaged gift. This is a great option for anyone looking to pick up a thoughtful, ready-to-give present. That said, there were a few drawbacks. I noticed that some plants were overpriced, and a few were of lesser quality compared to similar ones I’ve seen elsewhere. Some plants lacked price tags, which made browsing a bit inconvenient. Also, the floor was quite wet during my visit, and two staff members were pushing water across the floor - almost in my direction - which wasn’t ideal.
Parking was another issue. I had to drive a bit further to find a spot. Still, the staff was generally helpful. One associate named Nick stood out - he not only gave me a discount on one of the plants but also took the time to chat about anthuriums and even recommended another nursery that might carry the specific colors I was after.
In conclusion, despite a few minor inconveniences, I had a positive experience and would recommend this nursery to fellow plant lovers and gardening enthusiasts. It’s worth a visit for their variety and helpful staff.”

“Good place to visit. I bought a maidenhair fern from here, they are really hard to take care of. The staff told me it is a really easy plant to take care of. I looked it up, one of the hardest. I don't appreciate the misinformation. But this place is pretty.”

We started with two different gardens. One garden was too small and raised with a retaining wall and the other was just for roses. It wasn't clean and cohesive and I called Giordanos. I've had bad luck with getting folks to help us with our home so I was kinda nervous but soon my concerns were put to rest.
Nick worked on my garden and wow!!! He's professional, helpful, friendly and really knowledgeable. He could name the plants I already had even if they didn't have flowers yet. He helped me create a design and gave me great ideas. Whenever I had a question he got back to me by the end of the day.
When he came he brought 3 workers who were really friendly and professional. They put together a gorgeous garden full of perennials and reallydid a great job!!!

“I visited Garden World today at 2:15 PM and had a mostly pleasant experience overall. When I first arrived, one of the older white woman cashiers appeared rushed and was not very patient or helpful.
However, Sophia stepped in and was very kind, patient, and helpful throughout my visit.
The store had beautiful flowers, and the staff were very knowledgeable about the plants and how to care for them. After I left and returned with a question, I also overheard the same older white hair woman cashier speaking about me when I return to get an item in front cashier. It came across as unprofessional and rude, which was disappointing in a customer service setting.
Sophia once again provided excellent customer service and maintained a very positive attitude, which really improved my experience.
Overall, despite the earlier interaction, I would still return because of the helpful service from Sophia and the quality of the products.”

The quality looked good but the prices seemed higher when compared to other nurseries. “The great thing about this store is that they hire a lot of retired contractors who know what they are talking about, understand your home improvement needs, and what the best tools and materials for your job are. And, they are quick! You can spend your day off working on your projects instead of hunting and pecking through chaotic shelves or dealing with clueless salespeople.”

“I just bought a mini fridge for my new martial arts studio that just opened this month and Christian who was in the fridge department did more than just help me. He offered to help me bring it around the strip by Old Navy which is on the entirely other side of the plaza and bring it in as well. He did the extra mile when it comes to customer service and I will definitely be coming back to him for all of my Home Depot needs!”
