“Today we said goodbye to Kitty. Dr. Denise and her staff , primarily Kenny and Joe helped to make Kitty’s passing to be a loving time between Kitty and ourselves. For three years, Dr. Denise and her staff kept Kitty healthy. Kitty came to us, so very sick and then last year he had his ear removed because of cancer. I don’t believe that kitty would have survived as long as he did without the love and care from Dr.Denise and her staff. Thanks again”

“Dr. Wallach is truly the vet everyone needs. He takes his time and speaks to you before and after seeing your pet and goes over diagnosis and prognosis in so much detail. I've transferred care from another vet in the area and have never looked back since! My dog Coco was in pain due to unknown causes and Dr. Wallach has been wonderful. “I am very pleasantly surprised and happy I found Garden City Veterinary Care. I was transitioning from my old veterinarian to find a new one after 7 years with them. Main reasons is because my old veterinarian clinic quality of care started declining and prices were substantially increasing. I found this in Garden City veterinary care especially with Dr. Elizabeth Stietzle and the team there. My fur baby had her first dental cleaning there. “Dr. Morroco and staff have come to the rescue of my 39 year old African Grey Coco twice since the mid 1990's. Coco's most recent crisis happen this past Nivember 2023. Desperate to get Coco immediate care I showed up at the office shortly after they opened. They were kind enough to see Coco and started treatment immediately. Coco came home after the initial treatments but continued to collapse. Dr. Morroco agreed to admit Coco and over a period of 3 days Coco returned to his cranky but charming self. It was the best Christmas present I've received in the past 10 years. Excellent and caring veterinarian group.P.S. I do think Coco losing their girlfriend Penny, my Rat Terrier of 16 years broke their heart IMO. They were lovey-dovey over her. Climbed on her back while she slept and groomed her coat. Once again thank you Dr. Morroco and staff for being angels with Coco nervous stressed out self”

They also took extra care and extra time out of their day to give the stray cat a buzz due to the matted fur from living outdoors her whole life. “My cat Luka started having serious problems and I took him to West Hempstead Animal Hospital where his care has always been top notch. The staff are helpful, friendly knowledgeable and caring. Even though he did not like being there at all, I always felt that he was in the best care.He started deteriorating quickly. Every time I called about something serious that was happening with Luka, I was given an appointment immediately.The doctors and technicians took time to examine him and explain every detail of what they were doing. I felt confident that he would be alright.Unfortunately after a rough week of tests and bloodwork we found out that he had inoperable cancer and there was nothing the doctors could do to prolong his life and/or make him comfortable. I was able to bring him home for one more day so our family could spend time with him.We brought him back the next evening when the hospital was empty where we were all treated with such compassion and dignity, especially our beloved Luka. He closed his beautiful eyes one last time with his family around him and I know he felt our love. As hard as it was for all of us I feel that Dr. Cutler and the staff made it a little easier to say goodbye.Thanks to all of you who helped Luka, and us, on this difficult and heartfelt journey.This was a previous review before Luka became very ill.:Wonderful care for my pet! It was evident that everyone cared about my cat, Luka. He was treated so well, and everyone was very understanding. The doctors took their time explaining in detail what was going on with him as well as giving me feeding instructions and advice about what new changes I should make at home. I left feeling educated and knowing exactly what my cat needs to be happy and healthy!”

“I have nothing but great things to say about East Meadow Vet Center. Dr. Olcha is professional, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and the staff are welcoming and friendly.We took our dog here for the first time after our prior vet was dismissive of our concerns. When we told Dr. Olcha what was happening with our dog, he suggested blood work (which we did) and told us he’d give us a call on Monday with the results. He ended up contacting us the next morning saying that our dog’s blood work results were life-threatening and that we should take her to the emergency vet asap.We are extremely grateful for this vet center having same-day availability, and for Dr. Olcha’s accurate course of action, overall knowledge, and prompt communication. “I took my cats to this vet hospital for many years and found the staff to be very competent and caring. It is often difficult to find a good vet for one's beloved pets and this medical facility was the only place I would go when I lived on Long Island. Dr. McCormack, in particular, is a very good doctor and an all around nice person. The vet technicians are also very helpful and kind. The front desk personnel are also very kind and interested in the pets and the pets' families. I miss living on Long Island for many reasons, but not havaing Harborside to turn to when my cats are not well is one of the biggest concerns I have now. I would recommend this place and often do!!”
