“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I ought to know because I’ve been coming here for 37 years. The lady that was a bad clerk years ago is no longer there because her husband left her and went back to Korea by himself and then she retired. The staff now is very nice and accommodating. I’ve seen many employees even retire at this place through the years , that’s how long I’ve been coming here.I have nothing but good things to say.it’s also a safe place to get my eBay packages delivered. Too many porch pirates ( thieves) in the building I currently reside in .”
“I had the first time passport application here. showed up little early than the appointment time. No lines. Shayne was the clerk who took care of my application, very professional and with lots of patience. The process was quick, around 15 minutes. There's 15 minutes street parking in front of the post office, and 1 hour parking in the area. I had no problem with finding parking.”

“I love the staff like family and 5 stars aren't enough. I wish people would realize how difficult the year has been for the workers and appreciate their dedication to our community. From October through December they deal with an incredible number of packages. In January they are extremely busy shipping Holiday returns but... in 2020, the pandemic hit and online orders skyrocketed causing them to work at a holiday pace ALL YEAR LONG! Some patrons complain when they show up and the doors are closed but that's only when they are short staffed and the only workers use the time for the lunch break they are entitled to. There's always a sign letting you know what time the doors will open again. If you show up, share a smile and a word of encouragement. They're wonderful people with friendly personalities.”
“Like others have said, friendliest service I have received in NYC! My clerk was #10 according to my receipt. Before being served she served an incredibly rude lady who made several rudimentary mistakes with her mail and she remained kind and patient (though if it were me I would have allowed her to make the mistakes and receive the package she was sending back at her house…)”
“It's the best place to apply for a passport. I arrived a day before my appointment to pick up a form, and the people there are so kind and polite. The next day, I arrived with my son to apply for his passport, and Jazmin is such a kind person. She helped me with everything and was so patient when taking my son's photo. “NYC post offices can really be hit or miss and this one is the best one I've experienced so far. Advice I would give is don't show up 15 minutes before closing time or expect a line and testy customers and staff. If you go early in the day you can walk right up to a window. They are efficient and get the job done and are friendly if you have your business together and don't waste their and other people's time if you don't.”

“Thank you to MICHELLE for being informative, calm, professional, and patient. The passport process is not easy to navigate but she handled it gracefully. I came in as a walk in on Saturday (get there EARLY! They only take 5 walk in appointments- first come first serve). I was nervous and thought the wait time would be hours but she was fast and efficient. Super happy it was her that helped with my application.”

“I work nearby and needed to mail something important today, a weekday around 10:30 a.m. There were a couple customers in there, but no line. The lady at the counter (didn't catch her name unfortunately) was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. No small talk, just business. Exactly how I like it. I was out within 3 or 4 minutes.”

“Eddie helped me with my children’s passports and he made the entire process so easy. He answered questions about the paperwork and was knowledgeable about a unique situation we were dealing with. He was meticulous but everything was done quickly and perfectly. My daughter is 2 1/2 and my son is 7 months, they were both having a bad day because a lot had gone wrong, but Eddie made it brighter. He was extremely kind and patient with my both of them. In my opinion, Eddie is worth more than 5 stars.”
